There is a job vacancy for a Family Support Worker with The Churn Project in Cirencester. The role is temporary, for at least 6 months as cover for a member of staff on long-term sick leave. You would be expected to work 12 hours per week.
The role involves supporting vulnerable families, organising activities for families and carrying out admin work for these services. The successful candidate will have experience of family support work and can expect to be subject to enhanced DBS check.
Excellent communication skills are required (both written & direct contact) as well as good IT skills and an ability to organise. The sucessful candidate also requires self-motivation and the ability to work using their own initiative.
Applicants must hold a valid driving licence and have use of their own vehicle.
