Established in 2014, the American Horror Film Festival makes its London debut for one spooky night only, on Thursday August 29th from 8pm-10pm. This in-person event will take place at the Close-Up Cinema in the heart of Shoreditch, a cosy venue that guarantees a frightful immersive experience.

The Close-Up Cinema makes film culture and history accessible through its exquisite cinema programmes and library. Established in 2005, Close-Up is the most comprehensive independent film resource in London, boasting a library collection of over 26,000 titles specialising in early cinema, classics, world cinema, documentaries, experimental films and video art. The Library includes rare films exclusive to Close-Up, including films by independent filmmakers who are not represented by distributors, in which we are hugely honoured to be screening at such a phenomenal venue representing the best of independent cinema.

Film Lineup:
We have an amazing selection of exclusive premiere American independent short films with horror/thriller vibes to tantalise and scare. From hauntings, curses and night terrors, to werewolves, she-beasts and the supernatural!

Tickets:
£7 early bird tickets are available to purchase on our Eventbrite page until Thursday August 8th, in which general admission tickets will then be sold at £10. Tickets are only available in advance through Eventbrite, and bookings will close 24hrs prior to the event. Booking early is advised to avoid missing this opportunity.
