As a leading charity into arthritis research ARC needs every penny it can raise to continue in its work to combat this pernicious disease. Our shop in Crouch Street, Colchester is one of several across the country which helps provide this vital funding. If you are looking for a gift that is out of the ordinary, a book or CD no longer generally available or some useful, inexpensive, domestic utensil you could well find it in one of ARC’s charity shops.
ARC receives no government funding and is totally reliant on voluntary contributions. All monies received go into the work of fighting the many facetted, cruel and painful disease that is arthritis. Arthritis can strike the young, the middle-aged or elderly and you can help in many and various ways to assist ARC to overcome it. We need volunteer workers and fundraisers, we require people to take part in various national or locally sponsored events; however much you can give us in time or funds we need your help.
