What I like about A Tasca is the quality of the service. The food is good but the waiter, Joao is so good at his job that you feel as if you are their best customer regardless of how often you visit. Nothing is too much trouble and although intellectually you know that this is likely to be due to his experience and training emotionally you still feel like an old friend on the receiving end of some old fashioned Portuguese hospitality.

Is a little touch of Portugal in Corby. Makes you feel like a friend is cooking for you. We have traveled 30 miles to try this restaurant and will certainly do so again.

It has a welcoming, relaxing ambience the staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It is good value for money, with good choice of dishes, always a pleasure to come here.

A friend recommended A Tasca to me and I have now experienced the restaurant for myself. Really classy decor, soft Portuguese music to create the right ambience, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The food is really very good - lots of flavours, beautifully cooked and great to look at.
