There's really nothing wrong in reminiscing sometimes!
I don't know about you, but I always did like a bit of nostalgia!
I like getting out old photos and bringing back fond (and sometimes not so fond) memories. It makes me feel good and I like sharing the relevant stories with my daughter so she can picture what it was like for her old man in the 'olden days'!
Now I cannot claim to have grown up in Corby, so I don't know what it used to be like, but while doing a little research, I came across a website where residents recalled some of their personal memories, and I found it absolutely fascinating!
It always provokes questions and statements like "Whatever happened to...?, and "I didn't know that ......", and "I remember when...." etc.
If it interests you aswell, take a look and be prepared to delightfully waste away a couple of hours!
