Christmas Lights Switch on 2009 in Coventry
Coventry Christmas Lights are switched on Sunday 29th November, 2009
Across Coventry city, a series of events will take place as we countdown to Christmas.
The Coventry Lord Mayor will be joined by Wallace and Gromit to help light up Coventry at this year’s Christmas Lights Switch on 2009 event, together with actor, Martin Freeman, who stars in Nativity!, the new family Christmas blockbuster movie set in Coventry.
There will also be performances by the fabulous Midlands R&B singer Beverley Knight, Britain’s Got Talent Finalists ‘Good Evans’, X Factor and more...
Mercia radio station will kick off the show at 3:30pm at the Travelodge, followed by an array of live performances and the Coventry Christmas lights 2009 will be switched on at 5pm.
