Coventry teenager Taren Bilkhu is hoping to become the latest music sensation to come out of Coventry.
15 year old Taren who is currently studying for her GCSE’s at Finham Park School in Coventry is hoping to win a national competition, which if she wins would see her perform live on stage at the O2 Academy with Joe Brooks.
Taren, who has been playing the guitar for 8 years and writing & composing her own ‘original’ music for the past 3 years, explains:
“Music is my passion so I decided to enter Joe Brooks' UK Tour Contest as I have been a huge fan of his for about four years.” Adding, “Winning the competition would be a great opportunity for me and a dream come true”
As part of the competition Taren had to upload a video of her performing on YouTube which will be judged on, amongst other things – Popularity!
By simply watching the YouTube video of Taren performing her version of ‘Kaleidoscope’ by Joe Brooks, you could help Taren to fulfil her dreams!
