Loads of incredible people work in Coventry’s Charities and other voluntary sector organisations and the value they bring to our communities is in so many cases, immeasurable. Just like commercial businesses, they face the same age-old challenges of trying to fit everything in, get all the different jobs done, events planned, letters sent, people trained, bills paid, emails answered etc etc.
Whereas many companies can afford to invest money in the very valuable process of developing their people, charities often find that even more challenging with every available pound needing to go direct to the invaluable front line activities and services they provide. Many charities find great, cost-effective, innovative ways to develop their people…and this blog is for them!

Many not-for-profit organisations may not be aware that they are eligible to claim the Business Link ‘Director Development Program’ funding towards developing one or more of their key people.
LMI have specially developed the ‘Success Workshop+’ to help bring the personal management skills training we have been delivering to companies and organisations across the world, to charities and voluntary organsations in and around Coventry.
The best news is that; apart from the VAT element which cannot be reimbursed, 100% of the £495 outlay can be grant funded*
For that, participants will attend a full one-day ‘Success Workshop’, receive their own ‘MyTyme Success Planner’ so they can put what they learn into practice straight away AND they will receive 3 months of support via our monthly graduate forums. All-in-all, this is a great opportunity to help our local charities do the fantastic things they do a little bit more, and a little bit better!
