NHS Coventry has launched a mobile phone application to help people to get the right treatment and make best use of local NHS services in Coventry
The Free mobile App will help you to locate nearby health services including hospitals, GP surgeries, pharmacies and the Walk in Centres in Coventry - all with contact details and opening times.
For people with an iPhone, the application can be downloaded for free through iTunes or for people who have an Android phone, via the Android Market - simply search for NHS Coventry. The app is named GTRT (Get the Right Treatment)
Simon Dudman, for NHS Coventry, said: ”We are only the second PCT in the country to launch an app like this and it will be updated in the New Year with details of how people can get free condoms, STI testing, emergency contraception and Chlamydia screens. A future update will include details of local stop smoking clinics. The app is also a great tool for people who may have moved to the Coventry”.
