Free Laptops & Internet Access in Coventry with Home Access Scheme
A government backed scheme ‘Home Access’ aimed to encourage learning at home is launched this week
A Free laptop and / or Internet Home Access scheme which will see hundreds of thousands low income families across England & Wales receive Free Laptops and / or Internet Access is launched this week!
The government backed Home Access scheme which is designed to encourage learning at home is estimated it will help 270,000 households on low incomes get on line
Households could receive up to £528.00 towards a new Laptop and / or Internet Access for a year!
If you are a low income family in receipt of certain benefits you could qualify for a grant to buy a computer and /or a minimum of one years’ internet access. The programme is aimed at those that need it most and targets families that do not have access to a computer or the internet at home.
Depending on what you need, the grant allows eligible applicants to buy one of the following packages:
1. Full package (a computer, one year's internet access, service and support)
2. Computer with service - support only
3. One year's internet access only
