Everyone knows it’s Christmas when Coventry’s switch on is happening...
Who’s excited? I know, I am
Last year Coventry changed the tradition of the switch on from a Sunday to a Wednesday, and this new tradition is carrying on this year. Make sure to scribble out and scrap any plans for Wednesday 25th November 2015 as Coventry’s Christmas Switch on will be taking place.
If you can remember last year Broadgate Square was full of excitement and laughter with a variety of people; friends, family so be sure check it out.
This year as Coventrys Christmas switch on has invited some very special guests who will bring the festive feeling to the town centre. There is a range of acts so everyone is pleased.
The line up for this year is (drum roll please.....)
Yes, yes, yes they are all coming to Coventry’s Christmas lights switch on. And guess what? You can see them all for £.... FREE!
Organisers Coventry BID and Coventry City Council will hope this year’s event at least equals the success of last year which was headlined by boyband Union J and attracted thousands of people into the city and I’m sure Connor Maynard will just do the same.
I can’t wait and I can guarantee you can't either - Christmas is truly beginning in Coventry so be there to experience the fun and excitement.
I hope to see you all there, dancing and clapping away, getting into the festive spirit.
