Frosty the Snowman, was a jolly happy soul,
With a corn cob pipe and a button nose, and two eyes made of coal.
Create your own Frost the snowman and friends!
What a great cheap way to create Christmas decorations and get your children to make and create their own SNOWMAN!
You'll need the following:
1- white sock.
1- Decorative socks
Rice for filler
Ribbon
Elastic Bands
Buttons
Tooth Pick painted orange for the nose.
How to do it? - 6 QUICK EASY STEPS TO FOLLOW
Step 1: cut the foot part off of your sock keeping the tube part.
Step 2: Turn the tube part of your sock inside out and wrap an elastic band around the bottom- tightly wrapped. Then turn it inside out again so the elastic band is on the inside.
Step 3: Fill the sock with rice, pushing it down as you go. Then, close the top by wrapping another elastic band around the top.
Step 4: Taking the decorative socks cut the heel and toe part off in a diagonal shape.
Step 5: First, take the sock without a toe and a heel and put it over your rice filled sock. This becomes the sweater. Then, pushing the rice down to make a solid base, tie a piece of ribbon around the bottom of the sweater. Next do the same thing with the top of the sweater. And, last but not least, add the hat. The hat is the other sock that you cut up that still has the toe.
Step 6: Next you add your embellishments. Eyes, nose, buttons etc... You can sew them on if you want but I’d go for the fast option of using glue.
And there you have it - the cutest, easiest, little snowman you'll ever make. - IT TAKES 15 MINUTES TO MAKE!
HAVE FUN AND GET DECORATIVE WITH CHRISTMAS.
