Why not get under starter's orders for a Charity Race Night at the Fairfield Halls, in aid of the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign. Hosted by sports presenter and journalist Clare Balding, there will be eight televised races, buffet food and prizes for winning owners. Promising to be an entertaining evening all round, there are a range of ways you can join in. Tickets cost £20 including the buffet, and there is a minimum £2 stake. For the adventurous, £50 will 'buy' you a horse (including your entry ticket) and all the glamour racehorse owners enjoy! Individuals or companies can also sponsor a race for £250.
