Through Kids Company’s Colour a Child’s Life project, volunteers help transform the chronic living conditions of the children and young people who live in some of the most disadvantaged communities. With help of volunteers they are able to deliver these crucial, cost-effective interventions and complete work quickly. By donating just one day of your time to our Colour a Child’s Life project, you are significantly improving a child’s well being, helping to create a safe and dignified environment for them so they may have a childhood. Kiddicare, British retailer of nursery supplies and merchandise for children and young families, is hosting a full volunteer day in Croydon.
What is the blogging assignment?
We’re looking for a few more participants for this charity day – either local bloggers or journalists – who can attend on 23rd June (between 9.30-5.30) and publish coverage of the volunteer experience to raise awareness of the charity. We can pay travel costs and it’s not a problem if you can’t stay for the whole day. Please do get int ouch if you think you can make it.
