Croydon business women earns a spot on the air-waves
From mastering the intricacies of the mop and bucket to ruling the airwaves, Annette Heywood from Kingswood Eco Cleaning Services, is getting used to an unexpected change of fortune.
Annette started Kingswood Eco Cleaning Services some 5 years ago at the age of 45.
Initially just cleaning carpets and upholstery, she has steadily built the company which now employs 10 staff.
Being an Eco Friendly company has given Annette an insight into using store cupboard ingredients with which to clean.
Her expertise has earned her a spot on the Richard Bacon show as the cleaning expert.
Annette thought it was a hoax at first because it came straight out of the blue. She said “The call came as a complete surprise.
They were looking for someone who could help listeners with their cleaning problems using items from their kitchen cupboards.”
Annette is unable to use conventional cleaning products, so this has made her somewhat of an expert in this area. Annette goes on to say “they found me on the internet and asked me to be on the show, they were so pleased they asked me back again to be their regular cleaning expert, so I thought why not”!
