This year we're in for a corker!
Here's the full low down on the fireworks displays and other events in and around Croydon for 2012.
Saturday November 3
Beckenham firework display and bonfire
Croydon Road Recreation Ground, Croydon Road, Beckenham, BR3 3NP
Bringing the crackle and pop of fireworks to south London yet again 2012, the Beckenham fireworks display celebrates the 407th anniversary of Guy Fawkes' attempt to blow up Parliament with a colourful pyrotechnics show.
Get ready to ooh and aah as a series of rockets, Roman candles and fountains of various colours bring the autumnal night sky to life in celebration of Bonfire Night. The night also includes a funfair, complete with fairground rides for the little ones.
Organised by the Beckenham Round Table, the Beckenham fireworks display will see families and all ages out to celebrate a long standing annual tradition supporting a good cause.
Gates open: 6pm, and the display begins at 8pm.
Nearest transport: Beckenham Junction train station and tram stop, and Clock House train station.
Price: £5 for adults and £3 for accompanied children under the age of 16.
Kids under 5 go free.
Carshalton fireworks display and bonfire
Carshalton Park, Ruskin Road, Carshalton, SM5 3DD
Organised by the Wallington and Carshalton Round Table, whose members have been organising firework displays in the area for 55 years, this is one of the largest displays in South London.
All profits from the fireworks display will be donated to local charities.

Gates open: 7pm, followed by the bonfire lighting at 7.30pm
Nearest transport: Carshalton, Carshalton Beeches and Wallington train stations
Price: Tickets in advance £5 from local newsagents and other businesses, or £7.50 on the gate.
Free for children under five.
Norman Park fireworks
Norman Park, Hayes Lane, Bromley, BR2 9EF
As well as the fireworks display and bonfire, Norman Park will host a funfair and there will be food and drinks on sale.
Gates open: 5pm, with the bonfire lit at 7.30pm and the fireworks beginning at 8pm.
Nearest transport: Hayes or Bromley South train stations. There is also limited free parking.
Price: £5 for adults, £3 for children aged three to 10 and free for under-threes.
Tickets available on the gate only.
Caterham & District Round Table Firework display
Dene Field, Church Road, Caterham, CR3 5RW
The fireworks, organised by the Caterham Round Table, is one of the best-loved community events of the year. The evening begins with a torchlight procession, which has been part of the fireworks display for more than 15 years.
Anyone who wants to take part should meet outside the library at Westway Common at 6pm to buy and light the torch, with the last one sold at 6.25pm. The procession, which is usually hundreds strong, will leave the common at 6.30pm sharp to walk to the Dene Field for the display.

Gates open: Access to the Dene field is from 6pm, with the bonfire being lit at about 7.15pm. The fireworks display will begin once the bonfire has died down.

Tickets are £5 on the gate, or £4 when purchased in advance until 5pm on November 2 from businesses and organisations including Butlers, Computer Solutions, The Arc, J J Browne & Son, Peter Groom Jewellers, Tax Assist Accountants, ID Restaurant, Ridge Radio, Litho Techniques, The Printers, Whyteleafe Tavern and Knights Garden Centre.
Sanderstead Recreation Ground
Limpsfield Road, Sanderstead, CR2 9EE This event, now in its 41st year, is organised by the Rotary Club of Croydon Jubilee.
As well as the bonfire and fireworks there will be children's rides, stalls and refreshments. All profits will be donated to charity.
Gates open: 5.30pm, with the fireworks display at 7pm
Nearest transport: Kenley, Riddlesdown, Whyteleafe, Upper Warlingham and Whyteleafe South train stations
Price: £4.50 in advance or £5 on the gate, free for under-fours.
Sunday, November 4
Chipstead Valley Primary School
Chipstead Valley Road, Coulsdon, CR5 3BW
This popular display is put on by Frontier Fireworks. There will also be barbecue and refreshments on offer at this event, on the last Sunday of the half-term holiday.
No alcohol or personal fireworks will be allowed on-site. Those with tickets should enter through the small gate next to the staff car park, and those without should buy tickets at the staff car park gates.
Gates open: 5pm, with a torchlight procession by Year 6 at 6pm, followed by the lighting of the bonfire. The fireworks display will start at about 6.20pm.
Nearest transport: Woodmansterne, Coulsdon Town and Coulsdon South train stations.
Price: Tickets are £4.50 for adults and £3 for children in advance from Custom Engravers in Coulsdon, and £5 and £3 respectively on the gate.
Royal Russell School fireworks display and fun fair
Coombe Lane, Croydon, CR9 5BX
This fireworks display and funfair is organised by Caterham and District Round Table, with profits being donated to charities including the Diamond Riding Centre and the Royal Marsden. T
here will also be food, drinks, music and glow-in-the-dark novelties. Park is available for £5 per car.
Gates open: 5.30pm, with the bonfire at 6.15pm and the fireworks display at 7pm.
Nearest transport: Coombe Lane tram stop, South Croydon train station.
Monday 5 November
Crystal Palace Fireworks Display
Crystal Palace Park, Anerley Hill, SE19 2AA
Gates open: 6pm, with the children's fireworks at 7pm and the main show at 8.30pm.
Nearest transport: Crystal Palace, Penge West, Penge East, Gipsy Hill or Anerley train stations.
Price: £5 for adults, £3 for children aged three to 10 and free for under-threes. Tickets available on the gate only.
