I read about this in This Is Croydon Today - the car park at the Croydon Currys Superstore will be the setting for a world record-breaking attempt to fit the most people in a Mini Cooper.
Apparently the current record is 24, and this Thursday organisers Kingston Technology will attempt to fit 25 healthy adults into one of the smallest cars on the market.
They are asking for participants apparently, "over 5 feet tall, aged 18 or over, and medically fit." And presumably not built like Big Daddy.
It looks like they'll be making several attempts on the day, presumably to find the perfect car-to-person-combination ratio.
I wish them luck!
