Ofsted have given Croydon College the highest possible grade in its 2009 inspection, labeling the college as "good" with many " outstanding features.
In effect this means that Croydon College is the only one in Croydon to be rated as "good", and is also the only general Further Education College in South London to have been awarded this grade.
This is excellent news for what is a progressive centre of education, with a consistent standard of high-achievers passing through its halls.

A South Norwood School is also celebrating after Croydon Council moved Cypress Junior School out of the underperforming category - as a "cause for concern" - and now rates it as a "good school with outstanding features" after the school's SAT scores improved.
Pupils and parents have former city executive Richard Slade to thank for transforming their school since he took over as Headteacher in September 2008.
He's achieved that after being there only a year?
Just think what the pupils could achieve after four....
Yours, Katrina
