Local for us and absolutely love it. It's like being in a very stylish, friendly hotel. We pop in regularly for the snack menu. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The BLT had top quality bacon, cooked to perfection - a simple dish but so many places can't do a decent BLT and they can! The shepherd's pie we decided is the best we've ever tasted anywhere. The staff are friendly, genuine and look after you. I love the choice of places to sit, the restaurant is stylish and the tables are set out informally, with comfy sofas and easy chairs in amongst - all with an amazing view. You can dress up for a special lunch, or turn up in your casuals and sit and have a munch in a comfy armchair and read the generous supply of papers - a really nice touch. To be honest, it's always a struggle to get up and get back to the weekend chores!

The food at Farleigh is by far some of the tastiest for miles around. The golf club is quite local to us and appeals because of it's family friendly attitude we have eaten in most of the restaurants around the area, but we think that Nineteen has a lot more to offer than any other place. My three year old now calls it "The Club" when asked if he would like to go out to eat. The menu has always had something different and we have always been very pleased with the food and service.... The veiw over the golf course is stunning in the afternoon.

What a welcome addition to Surrey. I was privileged enough to attend the opening night of this chic new restaurant and have returned on various occasions with family and friends. What I can't understand is why it isn't jammed packed every night.
The food is sumptuous and the staff are friendly. The menu is well balanced offering something enticing for everyone. The Chef's interpretation and presentation on some classics is so inviting it's almost a crime to eat the food.Yum yum yum!!!
The decor is gorgeous, but the restaurant can lack atmosphere due to it being quite empty. Something I feel sure will be remedied once word gets out.
We are looking forward to planning a evening function next year as reports of Farleigh's amazing buffets have us locked in!!

We were on a Joy Swift murder weekend ( which was also amazing) at Selsdon Park for my husband's 50th ... We didn't want the weekend to end so we arranged to meet our daughter for afternoon tea ... We just booked this off the Internet purely on the pictures and reviews ... We didn't realise it was a golf club although the name is a bit of a clue!!! At first we felt a bit out of place ( not playing or having anything to do with golf) but were soon put at ease by the restaurant manager ( a very hard working Scottish lady) ... Our waiter was also a lovely lad and nothing was too much trouble ... The afternoon tea was magnificent ... If I have a complaint it was far too much !! My husband & daughter didnt want to leave anything but it was far too much. They had a variety of teas which were served in lovely glass pots ... We had a wonderful afternoon and my daughter got a doggy bag to take home ... Students eh!! Would recommend it to anyone ... Hopefully we will find a reason to return in the not too distant future ... Thank you for a fabulous afternoon .....

Nineteen at Farleigh offers the class and panache that is missing from other nearby pubs and restaurants - clearly the result of a first rate and talented Head Chef.

The club and restaurant is set in picturesque, tranquil surroundings and only a 15 minute drive from the bustle of Croydon. The high quality, well composed menu combines fine foods with timeless classics and offers a special dining experience whether it is lunch, afternoon tea or an evening meal. I certainly enjoyed and cannot fault my dining experience and highly recommend it to everyone.

We visited Nineteen at Farleigh on 26th October 2012 for afternoon tea. We were a party of 5 one of whom was in a wheelchair. The staff could not have been more accommodating - they were absolutely fine with the fact that we were delayed by over an hour (due to our taxi failing to turn up!) and they really couldn't have done enough for us, making sure that we had everything we needed and wanted. Our waitress was friendly, professional and most importantly made sure we were really well looked after and made to feel very welcome.

The food was really tasty and they have a great range of teas to choose from. The restaurant is beautifully designed with lovely views over the course. Overall we had a really enjoyable afternoon in a beautiful setting with really great staff and customer service - thank you and we hope to see you again soon!

I took my parents and my daughter to Bar Nineteen at Farleigh for afternoon tea. What a pleasurable experience! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive and the food was just delicious. Loved the Oolong Dong Ding tea! Would definitely recommend a visit - we'll be back for sure!

Bar XIX is located at Farleigh Golf Club which recently came under the ownership of the famous Foxhills Resort which is well known to reviewers of Trip Advisor - the elegantly designed restaurant is complemented by innovative and varied menus presented by Luke the Gary Rhodes trained head chef and which menus include a range of delicious desserts - there is a full range of accompanying at realistic prices. The restaurant offers menus throughout the day from breakfast to afternoon tea and dinner. The staff are welcoming and guests are made to feel very special. The restaurant windows offer panoramic views of the golf courses and in the distance part of skyline of the city including the Shard and the Gherkin.

Newly opened restaurant Nineteen at Farleigh has hit the ground running, a great menu, extensive wine list and first class service has made this our first choice venue for eating out and socialising. It really covers all bases when it comes to services offered, it is clear nothing is too much trouble, whether you come for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner you will not be disappointed, we've tried them all! The value for money is excellent, even better if you join as a social member which allows you a discount on your bill. The clearly talented Head Chef produces dishes that become talking points around the table, last night it was the crab pasta special and the slow cooked beef main that melted in the mouth. The only thing we haven't tried yet is the Sunday lunch, apparently it is buffet starter and dessert, and a carvery main.
Hmm... What are we doing next weekend?

This was my first visit to Farleigh, but it will definitely NOT be my last! There is a warm, relaxed atmosphere to Farleigh with its beautiful décor, comfy seating areas, chic bar, several function rooms, and a games room. The restaurant offers amazing views over The Downs, and a wide selection of dishes - our party tried a meat, fish and veggie dish – all very tasty and the risotto was the best I have ever had! One of my most important points – the staff – everyone we met was polite, friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work ‘Team Farleigh,’ as mentioned in other reviews; you have a real gem there!
