My experience of purchasing my car from McCarthy Cars has been one of complete satisfaction from start to finish. I came across the car I was looking for on their website and due to the distance involved living in Derby, I was a little cautious. I made enquiries to James McCarthy which were quickly responded to and having spoken to him about my concerns, was impressed enough to make the journey to view the car. I was treated extremely well from the moment my son and I arrived. No pressure selling, questions politely answered and friendly approach in dealing with the sale. James McCarthy was someone I immediately felt I could trust, as did my son. I did have one niggle with the car, which was to do with the Air-conditioning display and James assured me that considering I really wanted to drive that car away that day and suggested a suitable solution. I got the unit removed at home and sent it to an approved repairer that he uses. Sure enough within the week, as promised, I had a unit back. Since they weren't able to repair the original one, James had sourced a new one and sent it on to me. The icing on the cake was that he also paid for it to be coded to the car at my local dealer. Now if that isn't first class service, then I don't know what is. I have nothing but praise for my experience with McCarthy Cars. Would I think about buying from them again? Definitely.

When I started looking for a car I was apprehensive of buying from the likes of Ebay and Auto press, so I look around the area and surrounding boroughs; keeping local is always the best way I have found. I chose McCarthy Cars because I have had friends that have bought from them in the past and probably the most influencing factor that they have been around for over 30 years (you have to be doing something right to be in business that long and reputation). Everything was hassle free from start to finish no pressure, just uninterrupted browsing and complete trust in taking a test drive. The financial side was smooth even the disposal of my vehicle, they would handle it, so no worries. A very very pleasant experience extremely obliging with excellent staff with good communication via email, I would thoroughly recommend McCarthy Cars. The car is beyond my dreams and more, an excellent vehicle with great specification
