Environmental and Conservation Groups in Deal and Dover
Rippledown is an environmental and conservation organisation based in Deal, close to Sandwich and Dover, organising school residential visits for young people in the Kent area and beyond. They offer a profound out door learning experience developing the senses and enriching children's lives.
The rare chalk grassland on the The Hawkshill Freedown is maintained by an environmental and conservation group of volunteers who work very hard to preserve the wide variety of flora and fauna found there, with the support of Walmer Parish Council. The Hawkshill Freedown is a rare gem found close to the shores of the Deal Dover sandwich coastline.
