Age Concern Deal Centre for the Retired, is a charitable organisation, which has been providing a range of services and interesting activities along with a warm welcome in comfortable surroundings for over 20 years.
Age Concern Deal Centre for the Retired also works in close partnership with neighbouring Age Concern Retirement Centres in Dover and Sandwich to make sure that the over 50's have the very best support, care and facilities in Kent.

The Deal Centre for the Retired is run by a mix of staff and volunteers who are dedicated to providing a friendly atmosphere as well as care and help for older people when needed.

Supporting The Centre Shop is a great way to recycle your unwanted, good quality items.
The Centre Shop is staffed by over 30 volunteers as well as staff who, with the Manager, Helen Morgan, provide a welcoming and friendly environment for local residents of Deal and Walmer as well as visitors from the Dover and Sandwich area who can browse at their leisure.
A key part of the job of the staff and volunteers, is to ensure that The Centre Shop is fully stocked and refreshed regularly with new items but, despite having to sort, tag, price and display all the donated items, they are never too busy to stop for a chat or to help customers find that special item they are looking for.
A fitting room is provided in The Centre Shop so that clothing can be tried on before being purchased. The Centre Shop has disabled access from the community centre as well as being easily accessible from the road in Park Street Deal.
