The finance and resources role will be based within a dynamic and enthusiastic team at its Pines Garden office, and will play an integral role in the day to day operations of the organisations finances, as well as an important role in maintaining staff and employment records, and running of the office.

The position is for a full time person and will be available from mid March 2010. It offers a competitive employment package.

Key responsibilities

  • Day to day management and processing of the organisations accounting data
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparing quarterly vat returns
  • Producing reports for the Finance Manager as required
  • Dealing with supplier and customer account queries,  monthly reconciliations and statements
  • Maintaining staff records and personnel files
  • Processing the monthly payroll
  • General office duties including answering the telephone, dealing with public enquiries, and other office admin
  • PA work to the Finance Manager and Chair Trustee

 

Requirements - to fulfil this role you will ideally have:

Previous experience of working in finance and payroll

Competence in accounting up to trial balance standard, calculating payroll, and completing vat returns

Previous experience of working with Sage accounts and excel

AAT (or other relevant) qualification preferred

Must be computer literate, well organised with analytical and reporting skills, meticulous and demonstrated attention to detail, and be a team player

Must have a valid & clean UK driving license
