UV Shield owner, John Tipping, spends his days helping residential and business customers to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint by installing high performance window film.
But something he often notices when visiting local homes is a nasty draught coming through the letter box!
John uses a thermal imaging camera to determine the cold spots and an 'undressed' letter box usually shows as one of the coldest areas in a home, bringing cold air in and reducing the temperature in hallways and rooms leading off.
John's recommendation is, if you don't already have one, get a draught excluder for your letterbox. The brush-style excluders are easy to fit and this simple measure can save you money and keep your home more comfortably warm.
