I just love going to Castleward. It is so peaceful and beautiful. The gardens are so well kept. There are two kiddies playgrounds which are just full of fun stuff to keep them entertained. A great family day out with plenty of open space for the kids to run about.

As Northern Ireland's only aquarium, Exploris is a tourist attraction not to be missed. With touch tanks, a seal sanctuary and special events throughout the year, your visit to Downpatrick would not be complete without a visit to EXPLORIS AQUARIUM.
The Exploris is a great place to take kids. They love to be able to touch the fish and the shop stocks alot of, not too expensive, gifts to treat them to. The cafe is really nice to stop and fill up in. There is alot to see and do.

This visitor centre houses a fascinating exhibition telling the story of St Patrick and early Chrisitan times in Ireland. It also has conference facilities, art exhibitions, a gift shop, cafe and Tourist Information Centre.
A great place for coffee and lunch. The exhibitions are interesting, modern and informative. Definitely worth a visit.
