OVER 20,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE DUNDEE FLOWER AND FOOD FESTIVAL
another rousing success for the Annual Flower and Food festival in Dundee's Camperdown Park.
For the second year running the bestof Dundee and Angus took a stand at the Festival to showcase their best of clients.
Although the weather was kind this year we were delighted to be housed in a bespoke summerhouse from Gillies and Mackay of Errol, which attracted a good deal of interest and was further enhanced by a 'wood burning' stove by Fire Surround Centres of Dundee.
Bestof Clients also visited the stand to both promote and support their own businesses and to 'spread the word' to members of the public as to how the bestof supports local business, with only the top 10% of business eligible for bestof membership.
There was huge interest in what the bestof was about and we were able to talk about our clients and the goods and services they provide locally and why they are 'the best' together with the dsitribution of publicity material on their behalf.
A team of electricians from an Edinburgh company responsible for the Festival electrics asked me where were the 'best places to eat. The whole group chose our bestof Italian Restaurant, Don Michele in the Perth Road, and they returned the next day at the show to say they had a 'fantastic meal and would definitely recommend them both for food and service'.
A great weekend, great for bestof businesses and great for Dundee - long may it continue.
