WAVE 102 'LANDMARK' SANDI THOM GIG
Last Thursday night the Landmark hotel, Dundee, was the venue for a great Sandi thom gig. The Winter Wonderland Marquee was where Sandi and her band, in their first Dundee visit for 2 years, wowed the audience.
Wave 102 hosted the event and as Dundee's only 'local' radio they play 'only the songs you love' 24/7. Their mixed music format appeals to everyone and all prgramming is produced locally.
A good audience supported the event to hear the Scottish singer songwriter belt out her songs including the universal 'I wish I was a Punk Rocker' which topped the charts in 7 countries after its 2006 debut. The album 'Smile .... It confuses people' has sold almost 2 million copies worldwide.
Sandi a fantastic blues singer also sang her latest single 'The House of the Rising Sun' vocally another winner, together with other tracks from her latest album Merchants and Thieves.
