The visitor centre is part of the UK’s largest horse sanctuary, Redwings Horse Sanctuary, having merged with the charity in January 2015. Here animal lovers can get up close and cuddly with its adorable residents and hear their stories – and, best of all, it’s completely FREE!
You can enjoy meeting super-cute Shetland Dayzee and orphaned foal Gibson, as well as bountiful wildlife including red squirrels and mountain birds.
You might also like to sponsor one of the charity’s adorable Adoption Stars, either for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one. A year’s adoption costs just £15!
Redwings Mountains has reopened on a limited basis. Supporters can book private visits on Mondays and Fridays. To enquire about a visit to Redwings Mountains, please email mountains.vc@redwings.co.uk.
