Due to the severe weather conditions across County Durham, everyone is being warned of the potential dangers the weather can bring.
Many schools across the region have been closed and the Met office has issued a severe weather warning for the region.
Drivers are being warned not to travel unless essential and people are also being advised to keep warm and check on neighbours (especially the elderly).
Let’s hope better weather is on the way soon......
