The British Heart Foundation are running another Dechox Challenge - a nationwide sponsered challenge to give up chocolate for March and raise money for lifesaving research.
Their website - www.dechox.bhf.org.uk has information on taking up the challenge, chocolate myths, losing weight, and healthy alternatives to chocolate.
They state that they don't actually believe that chocolate is addictive, but accept that people may be emotionally addicted to the feelings associated with it.
As The Sun this week featured a woman who had lost five stones once she had given up her chocoholic lifestyle, this may be attractive to many. We also have Lent coming up, where Roman Cathlolics attempt to change their lives for the six weeks, so the season of abstinence is here for some.
Are you ready for the Dechox Challenge?
