Here's our roundup of the best organised fireworks displays in the Ealing area:
In Ealing we are home to one of the best fireworks events in West London at Ealing Cricket Club. This year's display is on Saturday 7th November and will be set to music featuring favourites from “Classic children’s Fantasy films and musicals” and includes a laser display prior to the Fireworks. Gates open at 6pm but please arrive promptly to avoid the queues! The display will start at 7.30pm and will include Children’s Fun Rides and Glow Novelties as well as a bar and BBQ. Admission: £6 adult/ £4 Child under 14 (accompanied), payable at the gates on the night. Tip: this is very popular so get there in plenty of time to avoid long queues. Street parking in nearby roads gets full quickly.
Slightly further afield but handy for Acton residents is the Ravenscourt Park's community fireworks event on Saturday 7th November – this is particularly family-friendly offering a children's display at 7.15pm before the main event at 8pm, which will be choreographed to music. A funfair and food stalls will keep everybody happy between, but please note that no alcohol will be permitted at the event. Tickets are available to purchase through the Lyric Theatre.
The Park Club in Acton is holding their Fireworks Spectacular on Friday 6th November. Although mainly for members if you have friends going ask them to take you along - guests are welcome (at a cost) as long as they are accompanied by a card-carrying member of the club. Access is from 5.30pm and the fireworks start at 7.45pm. Other activities include: new Street Food Village, Funfair, children's mini disco, special demos, and various food, drink & toy stalls.
Organised events are the safest and easiest way to enjoy a great fireworks display so stand well back and have fun!
