With Hanwell Carnival just months away, preparations are in full swing.
It will take place on Saturday 20 June and as per tradition, it will kick off with a procession from Hanwell Community Centre to Elthorne Park, where there will be music, food, fairground rides and much more.
The carnival - believed to be London's oldest - is run entirely by the community for the community, and the team is always looking for fresh ideas and new members.
There are loads of jobs available, whether it's booking acts for the performance stages, running the website, putting together the carnival programme, finding sponsors or advertisers, joining procession art workshops or helping on the day itself.
Sponsors are also being sought and with 30,000 visitors last year, the carnival is a great opportunity for companies. Firms can also advertise in the carnival programme, which is delivered to homes prior to the festival and also handed out on the day.
There is also still plenty of time for charities to book a stall and for people to sign up to the procession.
Anyone can take part in the procession- schoolchildren, bands, dance troupes, sports players, faith groups - and with this year's theme of Historical Hanwell, it is bound to be a noisy one.
