Every year I end up sending cards and gifts to family and friends overseas in a last minute panic as I’m never sufficiently organised at the beginning of December.
So here for all those of you who suffer a similar annual fate are the last posting dates published by The Royal Mail:
5 December airmail to South and Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Far East (except Japan), Asia, New Zealand and Australia
9 December airmail to Japan, USA, Canada and Eastern Europe
12 December airmail to Western Europe
17 December Second class post UK
20 December First class post UK
22 December Special delivery UK
Whichever Ealing post office you opt for, be prepared to queue!
