The Line-Up
8:00 PM – Michael Hill
Starting the evening, we have the talented Michael Hill, a rising star already writing his own songs and building a loyal following.

9:00 PM – The Fur Babies
Next, it’s time for local legends The Fur Babies, still going strong with their superb pop songs and sharp-witted tales of local life, love, and “inappropriate sunglasses.” Fronted by the ever-creative Ian Clavey (Mr. Hanwell), this band captures the spirit of the community like no other. Adding to the magic is Rose Eyre, who also performs with the next act, The Cold Head.

10:20 PM – The Cold Head
This enigmatic and thought-provoking band, led by the brilliant Doug Stephens (writer and guitarist), brings strong Hanwell and Ealing connections. With a line-up featuring members of Furniture and Transglobal Underground—including the masterful Hamid Mantu and mercurial Tim Whelan—you’re in for a rare treat. Expect guest appearances from Larry Whelan and Vincent Scanlon, as this band takes you on a journey from art pop to art rock and beyond.

Midnight – TJ ‘Holy Boy’ Johnson
Bringing us into the New Year is the electrifying TJ ‘Holy Boy’ Johnson. One of London’s
most versatile and technically gifted musicians, TJ has lit up stages worldwide.
If you missed his jaw-dropping performances at the Ealing Blues Festival over the last two years, now’s your chance to witness his brilliance at the Hanwell Hootenanny.

This is set to be an extraordinary night of music, community, and celebration.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the Kings Arms to kick off 2024 in style.
