Lovely little theatre. Not too many stairs/steps to negotiate to your seat. Parking directly outside for disability badge holders.

Saw this yesterday and it is absolutely fantastic this year. Martyn and Tucker are sparking off each other once again and the baddie Steven Ferlin is superb. There was some excellent singing during the show and particularly impressive was Martyn’s heartfelt performance of Charlie Chaplins “Smile” is just beautiful and Steven Ferlins rendition of Bad Guy was delivered with rock star panache with just a hint of panto, just perfect.
The whole cast are outstanding and Tuckers comedy talent shines from start to finish with loads of laugh out loud moments. He is great with the kids at the end and so funny.

We won tickets to see this pantomime in what is such a great historical theatre and must say that it was such a great pantomime without the famous stars - so funny and engaging with the audience. Would definitely recommend that you try to go here to see the pantomime.

All the staff here are so friendly as well which does help.

What a great time we all had! As usual, I came with a group of foreign students from the Twin English Centre and they were all mesmerised. The pantomime had everything- great costumes, fantastic singing and dancing, songs to appeal to all generations, a hilarious double act between the dame and Simple Simon, an incredible giant and superb special effects. Clarabelle won all our hearts with her expressive eyes and downcast expression, and we all enjoyed booing loudly at the suitably dastardly villain! Once again the cast and producer havedemonstrated without any doubt that Eastbourne's pantomimes are the best!

We saw Jack and the Beanstalk. This isn't our local pantomime but we discovered a few years ago that the devonshire park theatre has the best one.
This years exceeded our expectations, I have never laughed so much in a panto, or been so amazed at so much. The dancers were excellent, the giant was a giant, fantastic singing, endless energy from all, and the baddy fleshcreep was the best baddy I've seen. There was even a pantomime cow.
Highly recommended it.

I've been visiting this beautiful theatre for most of my life, there continues to be a great variety of shows, to suit anyone! Although the shows may change, the atmosphere, hospitality and professionalism from ticket office to behind ( and in front of) the scenes never does, always seamlessly professional. A great flagship venue for Eastbourne and the theatre scene.

I have a love of Musical Theatre and have been fortunate enough to have seen most of the major, litteraly from A, Avenue Q to Z, Zoro, in venues all over the UK, Europe, USA and Australia.
This production is up there with the best.
Great, original, music, simple but fantastic set and an utterly brilliant and talented cast.
That good that I'm going to try and get another ticket for later in the week!

Great Theatre with all the charms in the decor. If we don't use these old theatres they will disappear and we will lose our heritage. The staff are very friendly and especially in the box office.

Devonshire Park Theatre is a lovely old theatre. There's been some excellent shows there. It's only a small theatre but a good place to go for the evening. They've got a bar when you can get a drink in the interval. The theatre is close to the Stage Door pub which used to be called the Buckaneer and also close to a few restaurants. Worth a night out to see a good show.

The Devonshire Park Theatre is a very traditional theatre, as witnessed by the recently refurbished wood panel toilets! Although small, it draws high quality acts with well known stars. Prices are reasonable and it has its own bar. You will find musicals, pantomimes and traditional plays & comedies all year round here, which makes it a favourite for both visitors and locals.

The Devonshire theatre is a lovely proper theatre. I went to see the 39 steps with my friend and we both felt the actors (4) of them were superb and funny. My friend and I indulged into a couple of glasses of prosecco before and at the interval. Friendly service and the drinks not to pricey. Definitely recommend a visit.

This theatre is full of ambience, history and character. From the tiny well-stocked kiosk, the friendly, suited staff to the ornate decor. A lovely place to enjoy a night out to the theatre. There's also a free car park (after 6.30) nearby with nearby pubs, restaurants and the promenade should you wish to make a longer night out. So pleased it's finally reopened - it was worth the wait!

The 4 actors worked so hard - hottest night of the year - and they were all great.
Great staging and some funny lines making it more of a ‘seaside’ show.
Would recommend- great show in a lovely theatre with lovely support staff.
