Went today (BH Monday) with wife and two young children.

We ordered the tickets online and decided to arrive at around 10:30. Car park was filling up, however, the stewards ensured that parking was stress free.

Queued to show our tickets and entered the park, bought a Starbucks coffee (they have a franchise vending machine) and some drinks for the girls..not a bad price.

Girls enjoyed the rides and the wet play area, the zoo was enjoyable and apart from some minor queuing it was remarkably easy to walk around the park.

The train, rhino ride and Hello Kitty areas were good. This is not an amusement park and is clearly aimed at 2 - 10 yr olds.

Is it worth the money?, not completely convinced, however, there was enough to do for the girls to be entertained for 4+ hrs.

Myself my mum and my three boys aged 15 months, 6 and 8 went yesterday to drusillas and literally had the most amazing time!
There were so many new attractions it kept my children completely entertained from the minute we arrived until the minute we left!
The zoo had some brilliant new additions like the giant anteaters and the raccoons, both of which my boys love!
The new swimming area with fountains is just hours of fun, then there's the safari train the go safari rides and hello kitty land!!
Wr left with 3 very tired children who all agreed what a brilliantly fun day it had been,
visited previously and didn't think it was worth the entrance fee as adults and children all pay the same price.
but now I'd happily pay again and again we have now purchased season tickets!
Well done drusillas for upping your game! A really excellent place to visit with kids!!

Parking is free.Great place to visit I was really impressed by the interactive things and challenges lots of great rides for children. I just question the adult price but especially a child price a 3 year old pays £19..yes £19 now i know rides are included but that is an extortionate amount for a child. I would suggest:
Under 5s free
6-11 age half adult fee
12 and over adult price

Toilets were generally clean and tidy. I Used the gents near the oasis cage and play area. Maybe a sign to say female staff may enter would be helpful (my wife said she saw one but I didn't...went back still didn't see one)

Food:we were in explorers cafe and it was very good value for money. Decent food ..what you see on pictures paid just over £16

Park is very good and large great play area-best i have seen.Staff were friendly and ample of them around to help. Staff were seen cleaning areas which was good

Noticed a few smokers huts, for me there shouldn't be any not only for members of the public but the animals. They seem redundant because the smoke just leaves. One of the smokers huts is next To smoothie and picnic food area...for me that is not right or fair, but most were in places out of the way

Zoo is easy and comfortable for buggys

I visited Drusillas park yesterday with my two 4 year olds and 12 year old niece.

It was a lovely surprise to see that Pepper and George were also at the park that day!
After queuing no longer than 15 minutes my boys got their photo and hug!

We spent the next hour or so on all the rides safe and enjoyable for my four year olds (and also my niece and I!!)

After lunch we went back to the start and went round the zoo route, so many different animals and activities on the way round.

A fun filled day which has been the highlight of the summer holidays!!

Thank you Drusillas!

Had tickets for free children so entry fee wasn't to bad at £39.99 for a family of four. However full entry price would of been very expensive. Had a good day out was of course very busy as was a peak week day. New things have been added since our last visit, like hello kitty land and the safari area, was great to see these where included in the entry price. Thought panning for gold at £4 per person was overpriced when all you get is a plastic medal. But the kids enjoyed doing it and wearing their medals. Staff are really friendly and jolly. We had lunch there which was ok but again overpriced but always is at places like this. Overall a good day out and will visit again.

Sometimes these places are 2-3 hours and your done so the entrance fee at first put me off a bit. But what great value the park is! It's a full day out with lots to do! The first parts the Zoo part and don't forget to get involved stamping the book provided with the kids. Then it's onto the play area that's great. Have some lunch, or bring a packed lunch to save some money then into the water park section so don't forget the kids costumes. The onto the maze, rides and finally a bit of face painting!

Thankyou Druzillas for a great day out 😁

This is a gem of a zoo.
It has a wide range of animals to see and several enclosures you can walk round like lorry landing and lemurland.
As well as this it has ride for the kids in there go safari area and hello kitty zones.
There is lots of places to eat or if like us bring a packed lunch there is lots of places to sit and eat it.
They have lots of gift shops with souvenirs for all pockets.
They also have live shows with well know children's cartoon characters appearing at set times on set days best to check their website for this.
The entrance fee is slightly high if you buy at the gate but if you buy online you can get a discount and if you have disabilities you can get a career in free of charge.
This is a great fun educational day out for all the family and we will be coming back.

We really enjoyed our trip to Drusillas today, and loved seeing the zoo animals and exploring the grounds. Unfortunately for us, we felt that upon entering the 'Farm Enclosure' that the animals concerned i.e. Ponies, donkeys, cows and Pigs did not have sufficient space for a healthy lifestyle. For us, it made us feel quite sad to see the animals so remote from their natural surroundings, i.e. Fields! We know that the animals are visibly very well looked after but feel that they should be in a better environment that fully supports their wellbeing.
It was a lovely experience, the food was lovely and reasonably priced and the entrance fee was also reasonable, but the day felt soured by the farm area.

This was our first time at Drusillas Park. We went on a hot summers day during Aug, during peak school summer holidays, along with our 2 daughters aged 5yrs and 1.5yrs, in total, 4 of us.
We used Tesco Clubcard vouchers and exchanged them for tickets online for a bargain ticket price of just £6.50 as opposed to £19.50 on the day at the park.
Tickets are required for anyone over the age of 3yrs, with the ticket price for anyone above 3yrs the same as an adult ticket.
We travelled just under an hour to get to the park.
Being our first time, we were super duper excited. There was a slight traffic build up close to the park, which wars expected. It took us just over 12mins to get into the car park and park up. Parking at the park is free.
There was, as we expected a long queue at the entrance to get into the park, we waited around 28mins before we actually got our tickets and entered the park.
We were surprised and kids were super happy to see the animals as soon as we entered the park. The Zoo is great here and we liked how you walk past it to get into the other parts of the park.
Hello Kitty area was good with 4 rides as well as the Cheetah ride and gyrating Hippo ride.
We were lucky on the day of our visit as "Chase and Marshall" from Paw Patrol were making a special appearance, meeting the fans on the stage at the events area of the park. My eldest daughter was happy to meet Marshall and have pictures taken with him. This was a real added bonus! It made her day!
We went on the Safari Train ride, which was formerly Thomas the tank engine ride, again it was enjoyed by the children.
The play areas were fantastic with climbing frames, slides, zip lines and a water park where most children were happily playing.
Despite the park being full and very busy, we fully covered the Zoo and all rides by 3pm with time to spare for an ice-cream in the beaming hot summer sun.
Do remember to take sun screen and hats for children, as it can get too hot.
There is a gift shop, where we bought some cuddly animal mementos for the kids.
In all, we had a fantastic day here. The staff were all very friendly and engaging.
We cannot wait to come back again next year.
Definitely recommend this attraction for those with very young children aged 1-6yrs.

Having previously read reviews mentioning that Drusillas is best suited to children under the age of 10 we were slightly apprehensive prior to our visit with our two children aged 4 and 10. Once inside the park we quickly realised that we had need never be worried as our 10 year old absolutely loved the park and all that they had to offer. He particularly enjoyed the fact cards and the activities that showed how you would compete in relation to certain animals. He joined in with every activity with his younger sister and came away saying how he had a fantastic day so those with older children need not worry, there is plenty for them to participate in and enjoy. We ate in the explorers cafe and found the food to have a good choice and well priced. My only slight negative as mentioned several times in reviews is that once in there are a few features that you need to pay extra for. I appreciate that things like face painting and to feed the animals may cost extra but the penguin slide and the high ropes course really could have been included. Children were participating so perhaps with this inclusion it would mean that the attraction would become too busy but perhaps offering each child one voucher to take part as part of the entry price would limit this. All in all we had a fantastic day and would recommend drusillas!

Arrived at 11 am parking was easy and was guided into a space by a worker. Had to que for about 15 mins. Which wasn't to bad. We walked around the zoo bit twice the second time was a bit quieter so we could look with out being rushed through by other people. We then went onto the restaurant explorers which was quite expensive for three meals the child's portions are tiny and over priced. Then the real fun for my 8 year old started first the new hippie and cat rides then onto hello kitty world rides before going into the maze, then onto the climbing frames we came away tired and my daughter didn't want to leave but we had been there all day so she was happy enough to leave 😊

We are fortunate to live close to this place so we have a pass and go a lot. Our daughter loves it. There is so much to do, the zoo, a huge park/adventure playground a splash area and indoor soft play. There are also a few rides which are controlled well so you're not queuing for ages. Brilliant day out.

What an amazing place that Is!
Beyond expectation! Very clean, with friendly polite staff. A lot of attractions for everyone, animals, water park, hello kitty etc. Plenty of space to chill out, even when it's busy, it doesn't feel like over crowded. Will be back soon 👌

We took our five year old grandson here on Saturday as part of his birthday present and neither he or us were disappointed. Parking was easy and even though we arrived at opening time (10 am) didn't have to queue. All the animals and their enclosures were clean and well looked after and the zoo is laid out really well.Plenty of things for the children to do in the play parks and rides to go on. Food facilities were also good, we went to the restaurant and Grandson had the food bag which was really good, we had the fish and chips and again very good. Plus the lovely Cornish Kelly's ice cream. The maze was great fun. We spent all day their and found plenty of things to keep us entertained and all the staff we came into contact with were very helpful and polite. Cant wait for the return trip.

Had an excellent time at drusillas I have a toddler so was dreading the queues but even though it was summer holidays the queue was quick to get get in and the rides were also surprisingly.the staff were all lovely and helpful and made the day an enjoyable one lots to do and my toddler absolutely loved it only thing I would say is that possibly kids under 3 not 2 should be free as after 4 hours we had to leave as he was getting tired and irritable

The park is very well looked after and the queues not too long. The kids loved it. It was good value. The animals were also pretty active and the areas with interaction were great. It is designed for young kids so if you have kids over 8 or 9 they would probably be too old to enjoy it. As a tip I would recommend getting there early and starting with the rides, then go back to the animals to avoid the queues. Overall very good.

Yesterday we all went to Brighton where we were ripped off for food and attractions (see review Brighton pier) today we went to Drusillas what a contrast. At first a did think we were getting ripped off again with the entrance fee for all of us but as we went around you could see that a lot of effort is going into the whole place. there are lots of things to see and explore and all the facts about animals kept all of us adults and children enthralled so much so we took nearly 3 hours just to get around the animal park. Even through it was the high season we managed to get a table and the food and drinks were fairly priced and tasty even the doughnuts and ice creams were very reasonably priced. I see other reviews complain about paying extra for some rides I don't believe this is an issue the ticket price includes loads of things to do and for us we could not have found time for the rides. The playground was enormous fun for all the grandchildren ages from 2-11 and we had a good 3 hours and we still had tears when it was time to leave. We did visit the maze on the way out which again a lot of thought and effort had gone into it. The ease of parking and the staff good manners were a bonus. we will return.

Took my granddaughters aged 3 & 5 and thoroughly enjoyed our day out. This is perfect for younger children as the park is not too large. There are enough animals to see and the various themed play areas are excellent. We managed to get on all the rides with minimal queues and enjoyed the water splash area as the weather was perfect. We took a packed lunch as the food on offer is the usual fast food. The staff on all the rides were very polite. The park is spotlessly clean too. I think older children might be a bit bored as the rides they do have are a little tame but would say perfect for under 10's.

Not cheap, but lots to do and go on for the price, but was a tad disappointed that the inflatable slides and sand pit where all pay to use, sort it out guys, this should be free! Would have given a 5 rating is this hadn't left me feeling ripped off. Parking? Plenty! Prams and wheelchairs? Very friendly. Toilets and cafes? Everywhere. Wet play? Yep, bring a towel and swimming Cossy! Play areas? Huge ones! Children's fun rides? Fair few aimed at younger kids. Lots of animals and interaction opportunities? Tick that box too. Fancy a train ride? Got that also! Couldn't be faulted in that respect, kids loved it and that's why it's all about, but I wouldn't imagine that teenagers would enjoy it as much as the smaller kids. Great day out and worth the hole in my wallet and the staff we met were all very polite and seemed to enjoy their roles and responsibilities.

I visited with my two sons aged 2yrs and 4yrs on a very busy day. We are card holders so visit throughout the year whatever the weather. This day was the busiest I'd ever seen it, but the team in all areas were so friendly and calm it made our trip even more relaxed. They could have easily been stressed, and maybe even were but we were none the wiser. We love Drusilla's, and with that awesome team, we will for years to come. If you haven't been before, go, there really is loads to do. My favourite will always be the animals, especially Oli, she's a beauty! Thanks again, Emma, Oliver and our (can be) feral boys 😉

Visited for our daughter 3rd birthday,
Had to pay full price which was £57 for family of 3( not able to get any discounts as muddy stilettos emailhad to be printed ... and kids pass only allowed paper tickets which needed to be printed & I didn't allowe enough time...
Anyway, I expected an amazing experience as heard great things and adverts always looked so amazing- how misleading they are.
All animals are behind the glass- well apart from pig, sheep and cows, quite small and some quite far away from the glass, some are not even there.( like meerkats this time)
The playground bit- is ok but basically just one big playground. We liked the rides- that was the best part of it I guess.
Not impressed u had to
Pay £3 for some slides.
There was something missing, Atmosphere wasn't great, i think bit of music would help. There was just tiny bit of music on the safari train- jungle song, my daughter loved it and suddenly all train was enjoying it- but lasted maybe 20 seconds if not less.
I don't think we will be returning for this price, the zoo bit could be a lot better
