Why advertise that the Gruffalo was there until 5pm today when we got there at 4.05pm to see a guy walking away with a massive costume bag!? Two very disappointed children. Especially as that was the second time we’d been today - had to leave this morning as our friends who had £10 entry vouchers were told they couldn’t use them today, and they couldn’t afford £42 for two of them to get in. This place just rips you off! We won’t be renewing our membership.

Visited during half term on meet the Gruffalo day. Thought it would be heaving with families with large queues for rides etc. It turned out to be still very busy however was still manageable and didn’t have to wait too long for rides at all. There were 7 adults and 5 children in the group and we all had a really fun day looking at all the animals, going on rides, kids playing in the play park and meeting the Gruffalo. Also went in the haunted house as it was Halloween week in half term. Considering it was near end of October we also had fab weather, sun was shining and was quite warm which added to a perfect day.
I would say it was a reasonable price as well per person for what we could all do especially as we booked online in advance.

Took our grandson for the first time. Plenty to see and do especially for children of 5 upwards. It was not really for our 18 month old grandson. Can I suggest a seperate small animal park for the younger kiddies please. Overall very well run and really popular. Loads of easy parking as well.

I have been to Drusillas several times it is fantastic, the kids love it and so do the adults. The food could be a bit better in the restaurants and a bit cheaper but otherwise it is great would recommend it to everyone.

Can't recommend this zoo enough! I took my 18month old son with a group of friends (babies to 5yrs) and there was so much to see and do. A really great range of animals with lots of different points of interest and activities as you go round. The play areas are excellent and we had a real giggle going on all the amusement rides. Some very happy-worn-out kiddies for the journey home! I look forward to visiting again very soon!

Had yet another awesome day at Drusilla’s! I have taken my elder son once a year since he was born and it is amazing to see how much he gets out of it each time. He absolutely loved the rides this time!
This year we took his baby brother for the 1st time and it was delightful to watch the elder one showing his brother all his favourite animals.
There really is something for everyone here, with the large array of animals, fantastic rides, huge play parks, lots of interaction and education. Everything is so clean, the care for the animals is obviously second to none which is fantastic to see.
I can’t wait to bring them both again soon for another visit, by far the best attraction in the area for little ones and we’ve been to a lot of them!

I took my nearly 6yr old and nearly 3yr old to Drusillas a few weeks ago and hand on heart, it was amazing. Not one moan, whinge, sad face, dull moment for the whole day. Daddy rode on the Hello Kitty car in giggles, the 6yr old is now fascinated with the Lemur Family, the 3yr was wowed with the train ride, and I was content in watching and taking-in the laughter, fun and great day we were having. Everything was clean and well stocked, toilets smelled fresh, there was no queuing (apart from to get in, and even that didn't take long), we saw lots of happy animals (no empty pens or cages) and the restaurant food was excellent (highly recommend the jacket potatoes - yum!). We will be returning shortly, to see the rest of it, as the 3yr old was pooped in the afternoon, so we left out the Maze, parrot feeding, and large part of the play area. We can't wait to return for another family fun day. Thanks for having us! x

We had heard good things about this place but found it disappointing. Kids under 8 would no doubt enjoy it but anyone older would probably find it a bit dull. Anyone who has been to other zoos would probably find the range of animals a bit uninspired. It’s expensive too. We wouldn’t bother going back.

We went as a class and had a fantastic time. James, the education officer looked after us really well and we got to stroke and hold hedgehogs, cockroaches(!) and a lovely lizard!

Lovely zoo and plenty to do with children. The play park towards the end is lovely with lots to do and the addition of the splash park is ingenious for hot days! Found some of the attractions to be a bit steep in price, but plenty to do without! Had a good fun day and will return!
