Really good place for kids, both ours have Autism but really enjoyed it, its quite expensive to get in and then you have to pay extra for some things which is what lets it down.

This place is brilliant for kids up to about 12 years old. Plenty of activities and teaching information about the animals. A superb play area. This combination keeps the kids entertained for hours. The only problem is getting them to leave.

Very good day out if you manage to get discount tickets, otherwise overpriced. Take a picnic as food very expensive and mainly junk food. Why can't they enough healthy eating for visitors.

The park was excellent we went there to view it before bringing all the children and the rest of the adults and it was amazing I'm really looking forward to bringing the children there, everywhere you go there is a fun little activity for the children to keep them engaged and interested, bathroom facilities are also spread out around the park, the play area for children is massive and very well made, the food area was lovely with a wide range of choices to choose from we picked to eat at the explorers cafe and the food was delicious aswell as the service being wonderful, I also loved the fact there is a short cut to the food court which means if the children are getting restless you can go eat or get a ice cream and then go back and continue, we went Into the shops which where well organised and bought a few bits but unlike some parks you can avoid the shops if you like without an argument with the children wanting items, we really enjoyed the day and can't wait to return, well worth the money and travel thank you for the great day.

Had the best day out here with my 3 year old son and 3 year old niece. The place was spotless including the animal enclosure with lots of friendly staff even though it wasn't busy. Lots of picnic areas or places to eat. Zoo is very interactive and educational and play areas were so much fun. The rides here are certainly she appropriate for my needs. Will defiantly be back. Well done Drucillas!

It is quite a lot for entrance, at the time of our last visit £19.50, and a family of 5 £95. But it is great value for money. There is plenty of opportunity to spend more inside as well, you can save a lot by taking your own picnic. Tea and coffee is reasonably priced, I did not buy food from any of the concessions apart from a scrumptious bag of fresh donuts near the entrance to the Safari train platform. The adventure playground is awesome, and caters for toddlers and teenagers alike. Take your swimming stuff too, the splash pad water park is great fun and included n admission. Then of course, there are the animal to see, and a kiddies farm as well with sheep, ponies, cattle, goats, and more. The monkeys and penguins are a firm favourite, and there are reptiles to see as well. Also featured is a small theme park with modern children's rides. A great day out, get there early and stay late to get full value!

Plenty for the kids to do and additional rides and features are always being added. Can be a little pricey for occasional visitors so use voucher schemes!

Fantastic Zoo which seems much more focused on the visitors than other zoos, great enclosures and the animals seem well cared for, but the way in which visitors can view the animals seems thought through.

Thomas tank engine has gone but that's no great shame, same train now has a jungle theme

My daughter loved HelloKitty land as well as Thomas Tank Engine! - definently going back there in 2015

Update 2 renewed annual pass and upgraded to gold...

What a fantastic, interesting, relaxing, fun filled day out. Yes it is expensive at the gate, but there was no dipping in to the pocket for rides every five minutes. We spent an hour or so at the water area, lots of friends made by our son. What most impressed me was the clever use of space, well done guys! Staff were great, most of them are quite young, but they do an impressive job, we went on all the rides and all those guys did every single safety check you can imagine, before the ride set off, as a mom, thank you. Food.....may I recommend the explorers lounge/ cafe, we didn't eat there, but wished we had when we popped in for a couple of drinks on the way out and a sizzling hot freshly made lasagne wafted by us and I had the urge to become a career lasagne thief for a moment! When you're checking out the admission prices and thinking that's waaaaay too much, remember it's mostly an open park, relax, chill out and have fun with your kids

Expensive but good value for money as there were no charges for the rides and attractions. A packed lunch would save money too.
