Well , What can i say ,Just off the A27 (Alfriston ) £18-50 per adult ,Car park Free Having been before i still love this place with so many things to do ,Not just a zoo . With train rides and kids play area ,2 Gift shops and 2 places to eat it`s well worth bringing you little ones down and educating them on how animals act ..
There`s feeding times where you can watch the animals be feed ,talks and when i was there , There was parts of fur , tasks , teeth of certain animals that had been confiscated by police after they caught poaches red handed and young staff telling me how they are trying to stop this in certain countries ..
A educating Zoo with lots to learn about all types of animals ..
All the staff were lovely and places to sit down to rest and you as a person can interact and see if you can copy some of the animals..

We met family here for our grandaughters 3rd birthday. The only slight downer was the entry fee, a little steep for two adults at £34. The park itself is superb and clean, easy to follow and how did we get to our age and see animals we've never even heard of?!
Not being a "zoo" fan (as can remember them from old) these animals and their impressive enclosures were very authentic and I was keen to interact with them and chat to the knowledgeable staff.
We went on a weds and the amount of people was just right for us to be able to see everything, expect it would be busier at weekends/school hols, but isn't everything?
The Explorer cafe had a good selection of hot/cold food and I was particularly impressed with the healthy low fat options available 👍🏻. Microwaves provided to heat up the baby food :-)
Take a swimming costume/towel, the water/splash area is great and really safe, the astroturf surrounding makes a great soft surrounding surface.
In our party was a 7 year old who loved collecting all the animal stamps.
Would highly recommend a visit here, particularly on a sunny day as all the animals are out on view and basking in the sunshine!

We went on the Sunday 24th September with our 18 month old and she enjoyed it very much. There was loads of interactive and educational bits to get involved in, tunnels that the monkeys could climb across and there was a walk through with monkeys, sloths and birds. It was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed it very much but I wouldn't say it was worth the £36 for 2 adults and a child..

Very clean facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Lots of picnic areas with tables. Thomas train ride. Restaurant. Lots of animals to see, and very well cared for. Fun rides for children. Weather was brilliant. Play area and climbing frames for all ages. Lovely fun water fountains for children to play in. Take swimming costumes! This is a really lovely place to go to for a day out. Went on a Thursday, but would imagine it gets busy at the weekend. Lots of seating around the park too if you want a rest, but can watch whilst children play.

Despite a rainy day my grandson, aged 4, had a whale of a time and is still talking about Thomas the tank engine and the Fat Controller, the meerkats who made him laugh, the binturong, bats, flamingos and the great time he had in the playground. So many things to do accompanied by good educational information for many ages and abilities. The sheer variety of amusement and entertainment is great within the park.

We had been at the tots break at Butlins in Bognor and decided to visit the park as a treat for our two year old who had not stopped asking for Thomas or choo choo as he put it, after seeing a Thomas show on the Tuesday of our Butlins break. I booked the tickets online, paid £45.00 which I thought was a fair price. We arrived just after midday on the Friday in pretty rubbish weather which was quite nice as it was quiet. We took a look around the animal enclosures and there were some really nice touches, absolutely perfect for a young mind and some great ideas and little activities to make the experience more exciting. We had a quick coffee, etc by the indoor play area then went to find Thomas. On route we walked through part of the amazing outdoor play area and it really is amazing. We found Thomas and to say my boy was over the moon is an understatement, the driver was great let him sit in the engine itself with the drivers hat on really made his day. I've read some of the negative reviews on here and trust me don't take any notice of them. Moaning about food prices, food at any attraction is expensive, deal with it. Moaning that the crocodile isn't real, so what. Someone made a comment about the animals at the park you'd be able to see in any field in the area well ok when was the last time you saw a camel in a random field anywhere. This place is aimed at kids as young as two well my boy is 2 and he loved it, I'm 38 and I loved it too. Oh and that should justify why the price is roughly the same whatever your age. Can't say enough good about the place.

I first visited Drusillas in 1967, and it was a bit run down and the animals not in the best of condition.
In the 1980s we were regular visitors with our two growing boys. It was much improved by then.
This week was our first visit in 20 years and how things have changed. It really is an excellent day out for all the family. Lots of thigs to do, the animals are in tip top condition and in an excellent environment.
Come early and spend the day. I should imagine it is very busy during the school holidays.

We visited drusillas for my sons 3rd birthday and had a fantastic day despite the weather not being in our favour at the end. He and his friends loved hello kitty, the train, animals and soft play. He didn't get to do much in the playground due to the rain but that didn't matter. I would highly recommend a visit here.

There are several hours of fun to be had here. The animals are fascinating, but there is plenty to do in the rest of the park. Works well for toddlers to early teens.

A good day out for all, we went with 2 year old and our 15 year old tagged along. Both enjoyed it, there is a good mix of zoo and play activities so certainly keeps the children interested.
It will be a bit of a loss when Thomas goes, but looks to be replaced by an equally as good attraction.
With so much to do you could make this a whole day attraction if you like (bring swimming stuff and towels) as there is a water park to play in.
Top tip - use Tesco club card points it costs £5 in vouchers per person or £20 for a normal ticket.

We visited whilst camping in Hastings my 8 year old son loves Thomas the tank engine and we thought he would enjoy this park. I used tesco club card vouchers and got 3 tickets entry I also visited visitor services and showed proof of my sons asd and adhd diagnosis letter we received access passes for queing as he struggles with queuing luckily we didn't need to use this too much as the queues weren't too bad. We enjoyed the range of animals and the way it was set out, my son clearly just wanted to go on the train as he asked continuously where the train was! he was pleased once he had been on the train and was happier after this we ate in the restaurant opposite the gift shop which was OK £30 for 2 adults and 1 child it was very hot on the day we were there the splash park was very busy so we didn't visit this part. Overall the place was very enjoyable and I am glad we went definitely worth using tesco vouchers for entry.

This was a birthday present for my 7 year old daughter.
We arrived at 10am and was meet by Carla who introduced herself and immediately befriended my daughter! We were apart from an hour for lunch on the go the whole day! We saw so many animals a lot of which she got to hold or feed! I was hugely impressed at the knowledge of our zoo keeper which she was happy to pass onto my daughter.
The animals were in great condition and were extremely well looked after and a lot of thought had gone in to the enclosure and the feeding to enrich the animal lives.
My daughter got to keep her Zoo keeper t shirt and badge.
The lunchtime food was yummy and my daughters meal was included in her zookeeper package.
This was such a great birthday present! She was made to feel very special and went home with so many fantastic memories . Thank you Drusilla's for a fantastic day!!!!

My girls had a lovely time and was so much to do. Only downfall was the price of the face painting and tbh I could do a better job myself and the food wasn't that great but overall a pleasant experience and will Defo go back but will bring a picnic next time

Loved this place...we weren't sure it would be worth it as we have a two year old and the entrance is quite expensive and it is hard to keep her amused for more than an hour. However we were staying in Hastings for the week and it was recommended...we were not disappointed!! As kids are back to school it was really quiet which was great- no queues. Can imagine it gets really busy in holidays so may be a bit different at these times. Our daughter loved it, lots of animals to see, we fed the birds, rode the hello kitty cars and had lots of fun in the play areas. Great fun even for little ones and would definitely visit again!

I heard a lot of Drusillas Park from my colleague and friends and definitely didn't disappoint with it. There is plenty things to do here. First you have the zoo, small but reasonable size.

Then you got play area for all ages and soft play area for younger kids. They even have wet play area too. On top of that, you have Thomas & Friends train ride and Hello Kitty Secret Garden. I have to say I'm a little disappoint with the Hello Kitty Secret Garden. I was hopping for more than just a couple of ride and some photo opportunity,

The price is slightly more expensive compared to other zoo but is reasonable especially they have theme park and rides which other zoo doesn't. Would definitely recommend to visit.

Had a wonderful day here with my young family. Paid for my daughter to be a zoo keeper for the day for her birthday. She had the most fantastic day and it was well worth the money. Julie (her zoo keeper) was amazing and bonded with my daughter very quickly. My daughter is keen to come back and have another zoo keeper day! We spent the remainder of the afternoon in the attraction side of the park. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our toddler loved feeding the birds and was keen to be a zoo keeper too! Will definitely be doing the 3 hour journey to visit again very soon!

Visited with two children aged 4 and 7 , who both absolutely loved the whole day. They actually enjoyed the zoo part as much as the park as i was worried they would rush through the animals so they could play but no they were kept entertained by frequent challenges throughout the animals such as the screaming box and the poles to climb . The staff were courteous and knowledgable about the animals and all seemed to be very good with children (sounds daft but you would be surprised how many places like this people dont) . The day was expensive and if you live near i would recommend getting a pass of some kind , and going every day . Overall great day out kind staff and lots to do

The park was ok but that's it. For the money we paid I would have preferred chessington. I feel like it charges like its on the same level as better places not too far away. Would never go back or
Recommend. Average is all I can say.

What a great place Drusillas is. Great fun for all the family. Fanatic small zoo for the family. Great splash pools X 2 for the kids

Only gripe is price as a little expensive for what it is but used tesco club card vouchers

If your children are over 11 then it's not for them as better for the younger children

Have been coming here for years since my son was small. Visited today with my youngest who is now 9. Had a great time so much to do and one of the guaranteed places for a great day out and a nice end to the summer holidays. Two things that really make this place exceptional are the lovely staff who are really friendly and you can tell they are well looked after, happy staff equals happy customers! Secondly they are constantly redeveloping and improving the attractions. We haven't been for a while but now there is a fantastic new splash area so don't forget swimming costumes and towels. I will be sad when my daughter outgrows this place as have had many many happy times here, today included.

If you're in the area this is a must do! We took our 18 month old girl and she had a wonderful time.
Love the fact that's it's a zoo, play park and mini theme park all in one. There's so much to do for all ages.
For the 2 of us (adults) it was £34 as baby's are free, but if you get your tickets online the day before then you can save yourself £4.
Packing a picnic is also a good idea, as well as swimming costumes and towels for the kiddies so they can play in the Water Park area. It definitely takes up a full day so though I feel the price is a bit steep do you get lots to entertain you.

We go to Drusillas every year, and this year I have been three times so far, driving in from Portsmouth each time.

We keep returning for many reasons, but it all boils down to one - I have never been to a zoo where the animals seem so happy and so well looked after. It is a real joy to go to a zoo and see that the animals are not miserable, and there has been a significant effort made to recreate their natural environments. All the animals (where appropriate) have indoor and outdoor areas, so they can take advantage of the sun, and take shelter from the rain.

The olympic trail is a really great way to engage kids in learning about animals - and my husband too ;) he loves collecting the stamps.

Yes, there are optional extras. But you don't have to pay for these. And yes, the food in the cafe can be expensive. How do you think they pay for all the fantastic activities? You are not forced to purchase anything from them, and the zoo does not object to you bringing in your own picnic if you want to. In fact, the picnic area is only a short walk from the car park, so you can even leave your food in the car til you are ready to eat, pop out and get it, then come back and sit down.

It is quite simply our favourite zoo ever.

We visited Drusillas Park with friends and our kids, it was a great day out with plenty to do and see.
The kids enjoyed all the rides especially the little ones who could go on everything, nothing really for older children though. with indoor and outdoor play areas and two little water parks this keeps all happy, throw in a lovely little zoo and its brilliant way to spend the day.
Staff were also brilliant, I saw one lad who was on his way for a break stop to pick up a few bits of rubbish that someone had left on the floor.
pricing was ok (use your tesco vouchers for entry)
only down side is that Thomas is going at the end of season but they have plans for a safari train and new rides.

I visited with daughter and grandaughter who is 5. Drusillas has something for all ages. Obviously the Hello Kitty Secret Garden was a hit with gentle rides and photo opportunities in Kittys bedroom! Queues were minimal. The Splash area was thoroughly enjoyed, also. The zoo was impressive with booklets encouraging children to obtain a stamp ticking off animals they have seen. And lots of interactive stuff encouraging them to learn about the animals they saw. Saw many species that even I at 63 had never seen before! Plenty of food outlets, and a great picnic area with tables and even high chairs available. Plenty of playground stuff to keep the kids happy, with ample seating to allow adults to rest whilst keeping a close eye. This is the last year that Thomas the Tank Engine will be there, which is a shame. The train ride is a short one, but hey, it IS Thomas after all! Definately worth a visit, and we will definately be returning.
