We visited Drusillas with our two children and love it there.

The animals are well looked after and the Thomas Train ride is brilliant.

The Hello Kitty rides are a great addition and the huge play area is a perfect way to end the day.

The only thing I would say is the additional charges for the climbing wall and giant slide are a bit steep.

Will definitely return :-)

We went with 5 kids aged between 3 and 8 and it's fair to say we were all pleasantly surprised how great Drusillas Park is. Luckily we booked on the net making about a 10% saving but it was worth every penny. The whole zoo though not huge was extremely interactive and the kids had the best time hunting for animals to fill their stamp book.

At the end of the zoo there was a fabulously huge playground for the kids and they could have spent the entire day there if we let them! All in all the zoo was fabulous, the kids loved it and the parents loved it too.

We bought our own lunch with us so I can't comment on the food.

We had a great family day out at Drusillas, our 4 yr old grandaughter enjoyed everything. There is so much to do and see, everything is easy to find and walk to all the animals were happy and well looked after. The whole site is very clean and tidy the bathrooms clean. We enjoyed lunch which was very nice and well made I honestly can't fault the place! The staff were so friendly and helpful, a great day out.

They have made this a good place to go for children, but it is to much money for adults as all they can do is watch the kids.beware that the main cafe closes at 4.00pm.

Visited Drusillas today with my 5 year old and 10 month old. There is so much variety for the kids including rides, splash park, zoo and farm animals with lots of interesting interactive extras for the kids along the way. Definitely worth a visit

We went here for our littles girls 5th birthday along with our other daughter (11 months) myself and my partner! We all had such a lovely day!

We started off with a coffee that I thought was reasonably priced and the places to eat were clean and quirky.
My daughter visited hello kitty's beauty parlour to have a face paint and the staff were very welcoming and chatty. We went on to explore hello kitty's garden which was perfect for my daughter as she could go on all the rides alone or with one of us. Another great thing was we could take the baby on the rides to. The staff in hello kittys garden were all lovely and jolly. The waiting times for the rides was at 10mins maximum, another great thing!

We went on to dig for gold, for a small free you can collect gold in return for a medal (happy 5 year old)

For food we went to the oasis cafe, again reasonably priced for burgers, hot dogs etc!

We thought the playgrounds were amazing but a little busy on this day! We went in to the bananas one that was a little less busy and was perfect for our little girl.

Good amount of animals, enough to keep a young child interested . Our youngest also loved the animals.

Gift shop again is reasonably priced, lots of choices and friendly staff!

Thank you for a lovely day, it made my little girls day tand we will defo be back

We had a lovely day out for my 6 year olds birthday. Paid with Tesco clubcard and voucher was quickly scanned at gate. Kids enjoyed all rides and water park sections were a welcome relief on a hot day. We went round the zoo after lunch and it wasn't very busy. Would definitely recommend for children under 10.

Visited during holiday in Hastings. Had purchased tickets in advance using Tesco clubcards vouchers, otherwise would have been a bit too pricey. Arrived just after 10am and already people were queuing to get in. Was a bit congested when going through first set of animals as it works on a route through the park. Our daughter loved getting the stampers when she'd seen the animals.
Playground area was fantastic, plenty of choices for different age groups. We ate in Oasis Cafe which was pretty decent and reasonably priced (especially when they have a captured market) kids food bag was good and the face mask was a little surprise! Really fast service and organised for the volume of customers.
The splash area was great. Our 4year old loved it. Lots of jumping and laughing from all the kids which was great to see.
Park seemed clean and tidy.
Extra cost for the inflatable slide was a bit disappointing, especially if you had paid full park price to get in.
All in all a good day out and would recommend.

We visited Drusilla's with children aged between 3 and 14. It is a Fantastic venue, kids really enjoyed looking at the wide range of animals and had a book to stamp at each enclosure. There are lots of displays throughout the animal areas that are interactive and teach the children about the animals. The play area is wonderful but big and very busy so can be difficult to keep track of small children. We particularly enjoyed the explorers lagoon which is a shallow pool designed for young children. You can also ride in Thomas the tank engine train. We had a great day out and will definitely visit again.

We went with our 5 year old daughter to Drusillas Park near Eastbourne on 30 August 2016. There are lots of fun things to do for kids. These include a zoo, plenty of climbing frames, a water park area with various sprinklers and shower devices, a paddling pool, a miniature train, a maze, swings and slides, and a hello kitty area with 3 rides for small children, to name just some of those on offer. There are also a variety of eating facilities. Our daughter loved the five hours we spent there, and other kids were also clearly having a great time. As a parent, the major disappointment was being expected to pay extra, on top of the entrance fees, for our daughter to use some of the attractions, including a giant (Penguin) slide (£3.50 for 6 goes), face painting (£4.50!), and panning for gold (£4.00 if memory serves). Hence the title of my review. Charging once, at reasonable rates, is fine, charging twice smacks of ripping people off, especially given that the face painting, which took about 5 minutes to do, works out at a rate of £54 per hour! In fairness, my wife disagrees with me on this point.

What a great find. A lovely little zoo plus huge outside play area, slightly smaller indoor play area, splash park, paddling pool and small fairground all included in the price of £92.00 for 3 adults, 1 child and 2 toddlers (Under 2s are free). A great day out and apart from the giant inflatable slide and rock climbing wall everything is included in the entrance price. We took a picnic, but the on site food looked good and at a reasonable price. Plenty of seating and all very clean. A pity we live so far away otherwise we'd be annual pass holders in a heart beat. If you're in the area on holiday definitely set a day aside for a visit.

What a very good day out we had,3 adults 2 children. This is not a park-zoo where you can see large animals. Lots of enclosures to see birds ,monkeys, lemurs etc.On the way round lots of info about the animals. The children can stamp in a book when they see the animal. There is a small farm area to see cows, pigs ,ponies etc.Good splash area if the weather is good and small pool.On the park is kitty land and Thomas the tank ride. They is a outside and inside play area We did not eat in the park, but the tea, coffee ,ice cream was a fair price. All rides are free.

Get here for opening to avoid long queues. Just off A27, has a zoo, farm setting and enclosures where u can walk round & feed colourful birds & also see lemurs. Great splash park, hello kitty land & Thomas the tank engine ride- highly recommended.

Despite full car park and it being a bank holiday and busy we didn't queue long. £54 for two adults and one child! so not cheap. The 'zoo' is tiny and has just small monkeys and reptiles alongside a 'farm' which is equally tiny with a few cows, odd sheep and chickens. By far the best part for my 6 year old was the water splash area which was newly opened this July, he loved it. So take swim wear for the kids. Food is limited to the usual poor quality fast food and expensive, so packed lunches needed! the kids play area is quite good and the Thomas steam train is popular, although short. Panning for gold activity and penguin giant inflatable slide, you have to pay extra for. we've been and wouldn't go again.

Most animal enclosures were small, dirty and smelly. Prices expensive, food expensive and not good selection. Many cheaper priced parks offering much more

We had a fantastic day out, well worth every penny with so much to do and see. My young daughters loved the animals, the rides and play areas. The new splash park was a real treat on a hot day too.

I would highly recommend and will go again.

This Zoo is definitely not an ordinary zoo it also has a wonderful park.
I used to live in Singapore where they have an amazing Zoo and worked at Disneyland Paris so as you can imagine I am very critical of what it should be like.
My verdict is: Drusillas Zoo completely blow me away!
Everything is thought for. The staff is super friendly and helpful (no idea how they find them but I am suspecting them training their employees, you can tell they are happy to work there). It is also very clean as you have staff cleaning at all time.
I used to go to that Zoo with my older children 8 years ago but it has changed so much. It is much bigger and so much fun for any age group. They have added a park where children and adults (yes we did) have fun.
We took our little boy who is 2 last week to see Peppa Pig that he loved! It was very busy as it was a very hot day but as you have so many different activities that wasn't a problem. The queue for Thomas or Hello Kitty cars wasn't long at all. We did not do the water parts but will try them next time as we bought an annual ticket for all of us and will take our 11 and 8 years old too.
I loved the Zoo and you can tell that the animals are very well looked after. Kyle enjoyed the monkeys and the little farm. It is a very educational zoo and I am never bored of coming here.
In regards of the food it is a great place to find healthy food too (yes at last a zoo where you can eat good food and not just sandwiches). The restaurant is cute and the hot food was tasty. We cannot wait to be back soon.

We had a fab trip to Drusillas on the bank holiday weekend. I was expecting it to be heaving but although busy it didn't seem too crowded and we never queued for more than 5 mins for anything.
The zoo is amazing. Huge variety of animals in very good sized enclosures and they all look incredibly well cared for and healthy. Lots of close encounters options too. My daughter loved all the interactive bits around the zoo and took in so much information from the very child friendly signs etc.

My son however was desperate to get to the play area and then they were gone! Hours of fun with loads for the kids to do including 2 fantastic water play areas. There was a brilliant cafe with reasonably priced food/ice cream and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and enjoying a cuppa whilst the kids wore themselves out. Although it was busy and all the tables were full outside the cafe we found it comfortable enough to sit on the wooden sides of the play area and by the time the kids were hungry a table had become available. The food was delicious as were the ice creams :)

The weather for our day was beautiful but very hot. I did go into the indoor play area to use the toilets and it was lovely and cool with air conditioning in there if you needed to escape the heat or the rain!
The kids played in the play area for at least 2 hours and would have happily spent more time there had we not decided to move through to the next area in fear of running out of time!

Our next stop was Hello Kitty Land which my kids absolutely loved. They are just tall enough to go on the rides on their own now and they seem to love the opportunity to be independent. Great rides and only a couple of minutes queue for each. The lovely Siobhan on the drop ride was really interacting with the kids making them laugh and getting their hands in the air. Brilliant.

Thomas was good as always. The kids love the little chug around the park. We are looking forward to seeing the new revamped train after Thomas leaves.

Starbucks was an added bonus for the adults and the lovely lad in there was more than happy to give the kids a drink of iced tap water. So many places these days force you to buy overpriced bottled water which on a hot day when you don't want your kids getting dehydrated can get incredibly expensive.

Overall a brilliant day out. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole park is very clean and tidy and every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely day out making happy memories with our children :)

Brilliant day from start to finish. Arrived about 9.55 park opened at 10.00. Small queue already there but got in in about 10 minutes. Park was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. There was so much to do and luckily never had to queue for more than a few minutes for any of the rides. Would definitely go again

We were so impressed with Drusilla's Park!

There was so much for little ones to see and do. There are loads of different animals, a small Hello Kitty theme park, Thomas the Tank train ride, two water play parks, and two brilliant play parks as well as a live stage and other activities.

The on site food was really good and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and polite.

Booked in advance for 22 people including 15 children aged between 4 and 8 and took advantage of group rates, working out at approx £12pp.

Thoroughly enjoyable day for all.....the animal park is great and good activities for kids with stamping their books to say each animal they had seen and then finding facts out about animals in another record book. The splash and play zone is brilliant and was where we stopped for lunch before goi g into the areas with rides and the Thomas train which all the kids loved.

The only slight criticism is that once was you start the animal trail there are no places to stop for a rest or the lop with little ones so we found that about half way through we had the rush as the kids were getting tired and hungry.

Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable and value for money day out

We visited earlier in the week and had a great day out. I used tesco vouchers to save money on entry and would recommend others do this.
There was so much to do there and they have really tried to cater for a wide range of visitors. The interactive zoo is great and we loved feeding the birds and seeing the lemurs up close. They have a soft play area for younger children, which can keep them out of the heat or if it rains. The outdoor play area is huge.
The water areas obviously were packed because we went on such a sunny day, but there was still enough room for the little ones.
We met peppa and George and rode on the Thomas train twice. My only criticism for this is that I think the train should go round twice because it takes around the same time for people to get on and off, as it does for the train trip. The hello kitty area is well done and gives young children a taste of fair and theme park rides.
Everything we bought wasn't badly priced. I like that the gift shops aren't walk through shops, they are separate units so you can choose not to go in them.
We had a great time and wish it was closer to where we live.

This place is amazing. We had such a good day out and will definitely go again, it was brilliant. Perfect for young kids, our 3 yr old loved it, and I would say it's good for kids up to about 10. Nice variety of animals and some wonderful walkthroughs where you can see monkeys up close and feed the parrots. Lots of play parks. Everything was really clean. The cafe had a lovely salad bar and sandwich bags for the kids, also felt really spacious...plenty of room for my babies pram. Most of it is outside so it's probably not the best place for a really rainy day. Having said that, I cannot recommend this place enough - go!!
