Great place to take the young kids for a day out. Lots of animals in the zoo bit and every one of them were out so didn't disappoint. Farm bit was very informative. Play Park and rides are good too and keep the kids entertained. Gave 4 stars since the whole park looked a bit cramped. Alright when there are limited number of bookings but might get too crowded. Could expand out to be a bit more spacious. Spent 5 hours and the kids didn't want to leave so worth it and would visit again.

Everything was nice...Good day out with the family. Only downside was just 1 person doing the face painting. We had to walk away from that and my little girl was upset. Otherwise a good day out. Hence 4 stars.

Visited with two disabled children. Excellent day out, the staff also went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

Well run, great playground areas, fun rides for little ones (would suit 4-8 year olds best). Poor weather so no queues which was great. Monkeys looked a little cramped and sad but zoo but ok too.

Only suggestion is that management shouldn't underestimate just how much if a bad taste it leaves in the mouth charging extra on some of the rides on top of the entry fee. Much better to have a slightly higher entry fee if margins need topping up, as you just feel you are being manipulated due to inevitable kid pressure for eg huge inflatable slide. And feeling squeezed for extra cash isn't in the welcoming spirit of the park.

Worth every penny. Lovely day out and memories made. Will definitely be going again. Really clean and staff very helpful and friendly. The zoo in its self is worth going. Thank you for a lovely day Drusillas park.

We had a lovely day here with our two grandchildren on “the first day of freedom”. It was not busy but good to see lots of hand sanitizers around the park and some staff still wearing masks. The staff were very friendly and helpful eg refilling our warm water bottles! The animals all looked happy and well apart perhaps from the chickens and we thought the penguins were rather pale!

Two points we thought could do with some rethinking. As the weather was hot and sunny more seating in shaded areas would not go amiss. Also as a family with several coeliac members we felt that more understanding/knowledge of this disease is needed by catering staff and a slightly wider menu of gluten free options.

Had a great family day out at Drusilla’s. It was initially a little crowded upon entry and walking through the zoo, so we decided to walk through quickly and visit this section later, once we were into the park it was great. My 6 yo had a blast at the play parks and as it was a lovely day she made use of the water park section too. It wasn’t too crowded and queuing was okay for the rides with most people observing social distancing. We decided to go back around the zoo as we were leaving, which was brilliant, we practically had this to ourselves and as the animals had just been fed they were all out.

We had an extremely enjoyable day out at Drusillas. We are fortunate as our grandchildren have already broken up for their summer holidays so we had loads of space and unlimited rides with no queuing. All the staff were friendly and very helpful and the covid restrictions were implemented in a very efficient and welcoming manner. Although it is not an inexpensive day out it is still good value compared to other zoos/parks and the interactive nature of the park provides brilliant entertainment for the kids.

Generations of our family have visited since the ‘60s and it is well worth the journey.

We booked a penguin feeding encounter as a present for our daughter's 7th birthday and it has made her year! They whole park is so well laid out. We went around first as a family and then my daughter and I were met by a friendly zookeeper who took us on a short tour of the staff areas behind the scenes. We then got to see the nesting boxes and feed the penguins. Such a great experience. The zookeeper looking after us was really knowledgeable and told us all about the birds. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, me or my daughter. After the encounter we then watched owls and otters being fed and the kids played in the play park and splash pad - oh and a ride on the safari train and carrousel. Great day had by all and a very memorable birthday present. Would highly recommend an animal encounter.

Well this was a great bucket list item ticked! Despite the gloomy weather, I had the most special day feeding and (in some cases) tickling creatures I've only ever seen on the telly! Our Zookeeper mentor was kind, generous and happy to share her wealth of knowledge. My husband was allowed in to some of the 'behind the scenes' enclosures ensuring that we had a treasure trove of photographic memories - although I have to say 521 photos was too many!!
Favourite moments: trying to get Clementine the Capybara eat her beans (she wasn't having any of it), encouraging the sloth to grip the corn on the cob whilst holding my breath against the stinky fruit bats, peeling peanuts for Buzz the brave Meerkat, trying to tickle Gretl the Hairy Armadillo and, being climbed on by gentle Lemurs. Heaven!

Big thanks to Julie (keeper) and Stuart (photographer) for a fabulous photography day on 4th July 2021. They were informative, enthusiastic and intent on making sure we had a good experience. It was amazing to go inside some of the animal enclosures and see the park from the keeper’s point of view.

We went yesterday 5 adults a 2 year old and a baby.. Arrived at 10.00 left at 4.30. A lovely full busy day we loved it so many small animals to see and to get close to. A lovely dinosaur area, Hello Kitty rides were good. A large picnic area full of picnic tables.
Lots of places to get drinks, ice creams or lunches. Our 2 yr old did not stop she loves the adventure playgrounds and the water play area she did not get bored. We were so impressed by the clean toilets and loads of hand sanitizers around the place and the fact it was not crowed and no queues. It is really worth the admission price as you can spend a whole day there. I feel it is really based around the younger child maybe up to 9 yrs.
A great day totally recommend and will be back.

Excellent range of small animals as great viewing for little ones, with smaller enclosures meaning it was easier to spot the residents. Really reasonable prices in the gift shop, cheaper to get a cuddly penguin here than at my local garden centre. We ate at the oasis cafe, jacket potato comes with side salad and the chicken burger was not the usual processed fast food variety. All in all, a great time was had by all (children aged 1 year and 2.5 years), much cheaper than London prices. Highly recommended.

A very manageable zoo to visit with a toddler. I really like that there is a flow-through route so you don't have to be looking at a map all the time to figure out where to go to next.

We've had an annual pass for a few years now but what has prompted me to review today is our visit Sunday 5th July.

We headed to the splash pad and found that someone's child had an accident and it didn't appear that the person responsible was the one notifying staff or that they'd stuck around to warn others or attempt to clear up most of the mess.

The staff deserve some kind of acknowledgement from the management for the way they quickly cleared up a mess that they really shouldn't have had to, because children too young to use a toilet should have swim nappies on and if not, then the parent should be prepared to clear up as best they can and inform staff if there is an accident.

Well done those concerned, I really hope Drusillas look after their staff as you guys are the ones who really affect our experience as visitors.
