Haven' t been to drusillas for about 6 years what can i say Wow !! Had a fabulous day 6 hours in total ! The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They were aged 2-6 something for everyone ! I had one free child's ticket and i paid for one adult and one child. For a child its good value for money i do think it 's a bit expensive for an adult. I also think the dino dig and panning for gold a bit expensive but kids did enjoy it ! The water park was a big hit !!!!

An amazing experience and thoroughly recommended. My granddaughter was zookeeper for the day and enjoyed every minute of it - she was beaming from start to finish. Our personal zookeeper was brilliant, she had a very good rapport with children as well as animals, she was informative, interesting, had endless patience and gently encouraged our granddaughter when handling the animals. My granddaughter loved being able to feed the animals in close proximity as well as having Meerkats sitting on her lap and being able to feed the Lemurs. We cannot fault any part of the day, it was magical from start to finish. It was also interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes as well as in the zoo. My granddaughter now keeps asking when she can do it again! The accompanying adults enjoyed the day too!

I would really recommend Drusillas park for anyone with children up to teeange years. Everything is together on a small site so is easy to get around, but so many things to do there is no chance of being bored. It was great to see the range of animals in such an intimate way and the children loved stamping their 'spot the animals' booklet provided by the zoo and doing the Zoolympics. A ride on Thomas the tank engine around the grounds was a big hit. It was a great way to learn about animals whilst having fun. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and food and drink reasonable with lots tables and benches to sit on. I was also very impressed that the park is very wheelchair friendly with lots of disabled visitors enjoying themselves. The children and adults in our party all had a really wonderful time

I recently went to Drusilla's Park with my family, and I have to say that it is great. Very rare do you find a place which accommodates both animals, all-round entertainment for the kids, and a great day out for the adults. Drusilla's has really captured the essence of family fun day out. The cafes were great, the food was enjoyable and also reasonably priced. The kids lunch boxes were packed with good food and a toy. The activities for the kids was awesome, my kids enjoyed amazon, the Thomas train ride and hello kitty! But best of all, you got to see every animal in their enclosure around the park. We will definitely be returning soon and I have to say, thanks for a great time.

We had a fantastic day out at Drusillas, I found the staff to be helpful, smiley and great with the children: The animals are great with loads of different species, this is a brilliant zoo to take young children to, it's extremely interactive with lots of things like the zoo-olympics and spotter books. Don't miss out on the bat enclosure, they were my personal favourite and offered loads of entertainment. The play area for children is great, they loved it and didn't want to leave. Food great with a huge amount of choice, try the fresh hot doughnuts they're incredible. I highly recommend visiting Drusillas and can't wait to go again.

We took a group of children and their families to the zoo for the day - and what a day!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well ran Drusillas was; we met with the family who run the zoo and they were lovely. In addition, a lot of the animals I had never experienced before and I think I had more fun than most of the children! There are lots of challenges to do around the zoo, such as climbing poles or who can hang the longest.

The gibbons were certainly my favourite; energetically swinging from tree to tree, I could watch them for hours. There is also a section where you can buy a pot of nectar to feed vibrant birds who sit on your shoulder to be fed.

On top of the zoo, the other attractions are great too - they have Hello Kitty Land and a Thomas the Tank engine train that goes around the whole park. The new water park feature is fantastic for a hot day! If you are looking for a snack, their hot homemade donuts are a real treat.

All in all I would highly recommend Drusillas for a family day out, whether you have very young children or teens.

I have attached a few pictures also.

Our 2 year old loves this place and of course "Thomas"

Great attraction for the family and young kids - the new water park section is great, just remember to bring a change of clothes for your kids!

I hope the new replacement for the Thomas train next year will be equally as good???

Our family has had an amazing experience during Drusillas Dreamnight. Both our children enjoyed the zoo and showed incredible enthusiasm when discovering the very varied species of animals and the attractions. The staff were all amazing, really going the extra mile to help us, especially accommodating the needs of our child who has a rare condition. We are so grateful to Drusillas for providing us with an enchanted few hours which our children won't forget. A magical experience for all!

We have been coming to Drusillas for the last 12 years and always have a good time. Joining up as a member is best as its paid for after 4 visits for a family of four especially if your local. Brilliant adventure playground in the middle and Thomas train will take you round the park. They have just added a "get wet" zone which is great on a hot day and a great addition to the padding pool which is a little further on in the park. My girls love the Hello Kitty rides which are opposite the restaurant which serves great food. You get discount if your members as well. Lots of monkeys and reptiles as well as flamingos and two walk through areas. Plenty to keep the little ones busy. Fab.

The trip to the zoo was a last min decision the night before as my boyfriend and I like a good zoo and let me tell you this zoo was amazing. It was HUGE, it kept on going and going, seemed like it didn;t wan to stop!! The monkeys were my favourite area and my bf liked the beavers although they were sleeping. There were penguins, flamingos, rabbits, meerkats, raccoons to name a few! The weather wasn't great but that didn't dampen the experience! Would recommend for families and for couples!

This is how it's done London Zoo!. Drusillas is a wonderful zoo and adventure playground. Spotlessly clean and welcoming, animal encounters close up, in some areas really close up. The Thomas the Tank Engine driver told me he had the best job in the world - how true. My 2 yrs and 4 yrs boys were in heaven and are begging to return - we shall.

As a huge hello kitty fan I've wanted to go to drusillas since they opened the hello kitty secret garden so when my partner took me for my birthday I was over the moon! It was on a day where hello kitty was there herself in her house for meet & greet photo opportunities, which was amazing! The rides were great even for adults and there were even hello kitty bins, shaped bushes and Sanrio merchandise sold in the shop. The park on a whole is great, very clean and friendly staff. I only wish I lived closer so I could go more often

Took my boys on thurs 2nd june 3 adults 2 3 year olds and a 7 old. The weather wasent fantastic but no rain so all good. The lady at the gate worked out the cheapest option for us veey helpful. Took the kids specially to meet bing bunny they were so excited. The ques were not that long which was good all 3 little ones enjoyed the hello kitty rides and thomas. Took around 2 hours to do the zoo as the kids loved all the interactive stuff on the way round. Bought lunch in the park which was no where near as exspensive as i thought it would be. Left them to burn off steam in the huge play park before heading home. All in all a great day and well worth the money will definately visit again. Wanted to let them try the new water area but due to weather that wasent a good idea will go in better weather next time.

I visited yesterday with my 18mth old grandson. I had first visited some 20 years ago when his Dad was a young boy and although we enjoyed it then, the improvements have justified the charge of entry.

I would say that there is certainly enough to keep all kids up to 11/12 yrs. amused for a full day.

It is well laid out and, although I am not generally a fan of zoos, I felt that the animals facilities were well thought out. There are loads of interactivities with a fun educational slant to them.

The highlight of the day for our grandson was the water playground - remember to take swimwear and a towel.

There are nice eating places with outdoor sitting areas.

I will definitely return and recommend to all our fellow grandparents, as a great way to entertain the kids for the day.
In fact, as we live within an hours drive away, I am considering the years membership for £65 per person.

Went with 2 toddlers and had a great day, we actually ran out of time and couldn't do everything as we had a long drive back home. Highly recommend going as there's so much to do. Make sure you have comfy shoes on. The rides are great for small kids and some excellent photo opportunities,

We had such a fantastic day and the staff was absolutely brilliant and highly recommend this park to any family with special needs. The food was excellent value as my cousin's husband said this is better than McDonald's.

Visited for the first time with our five year old and was very impressed. Main reason for coming was to see Hello Kitty Land, which was smaller than expected but still much appreciated. The park was surprisingly quiet considering it was a Saturday at the end of half term but perhaps that is just in comparison to places like Legoland where we usually hang out! Lots of animals, most of which were actually awake which is always a bonus and some fantastic play areas for the kids. Everything was clean and well kept and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for small children.

Once again Drusillas provided an amazing opportunity for disabled kids to have time in the park where people understand everyone's special needs.

It was incredible to see how helpful and caring all the staff were.

My group who have Spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus had an amazing night and they totally loved it.

Entertainment, food and gifts all thrown in... It made a massive difference to some disadvantaged people.

Can't than Drusillas enough.... Claire for organising but for Christine and Lawrence for allowing it ... Thank you Drusillas is a real gem in our community x

Been here several times and our son still loves it. Food great and about the price you would expect but this appears to be the last year for Thomas the Tank Engine I wonder what will be there next. They have busy doing the place up over winter and have added some new features as well.
Very enjoyable

Had a lovely day today 3/6/16. My boys (7&5) had so much fun and we really enjoyed the whole day. Lots of fun facts that the 7 year old loved reading out, a lot of the animals have recently had babies so they are obviously well cared for and happy. The new rides are lovely and the outdoor play area has everything to keep them entertained. Very clean and cared for venue. Highly recommended!

I visited this place with some small nephews and nieces recently. It has a small zoo and several rides for the smaller ones. Very enjoyable. The café served very ncie food. No queues for anything and we got sat down in the café no problem. Plenty of play areas and a wide selection of animals to view as well as a mini train in the form of Thomas the Tank Engine. The only reason I gave it three stars was because once paying your entrance fee you expect everything to be paid for. However there are several attractions in the Park which you have to pay for once inside - not very fair really. Worth a visit though, easy parking and recommended.

We brought our two grandchildren to this venue and we all had a great time. It is so well planned out it holds the children's interest at all times. They loved stamping the books when they had spotted an animal and mark off the book on strength, speed etc and the playground area was inspiring. The catering facilities are also excellent and the staff really helpful and friendly and it all ends in a lovely train ride on Thomas with a jolly Fat Controller. Worth every penny. Probably the best small animal zoo we have been to. The children were so excited to tell their parents what they had seen and done. Brilliant.
