I was initally impressed when I went with my wife and 2 young girls (10 and 6) We started off in the Safari Park which was fun and exciting for the kids and us. From there the experience went downhill. The brochure said that there was a small extra charge for some rides/experiences but the "small" charge turned out to be £5 per ticket with a deal on purchasing multiple tickets. I counted 6 things all around the dining area that had this charge including, bizzarely, a sand pit with buried bones????? Later on I dropped our bags we had been carrying into a locker room. Again £1 charge with no refund when you returned. It also took an extra £1 for no apparent reason but there were no staff nearby to complain to. The zoo area was good. But they had free books to record the animals and a notice on the wall saying pencils were on sale in the shop... The local taxis were in on it too charging us £12 to get to the station a mere 1.2 miles away (2 minute journey) The girls enjoyed it and on the whole it was a good theme park with fairly decent food (Explorers Restaurant - not the Oasis) but I cant help feeling a bit ripped off. This is not what I wanted to focus on and I know they cost a lot to run. Just BE HONEST on the brochure and provide free little pencils. JC

Worth visiting here if you have young children. I have a5 year old and a 1 year old and there was something for both.. They both loved the Hello Kitty theme part and even got to meet her in the meet and greet. Queues are very reasonable unlike the main stream theme parks. The zoo was larger than i thought it would be but kept the kids interested by filling in a stamp book of what animals they could find.
There are parts to pay extra like a huge slide, gold mine rush etc. But plenty of other activities available included in the entrance fee.

We went to Drusilla's with our toddler and had a wonderful time. Everything is very close together, the animals are in well maintained displays and seem to be happy and there is just so much to do for children. We can recommend the child Olympics, but don't forget to visit the play area, the water park and Hello Kitty garden if you have a small child. Good for one whole day of fun.

Our kids aged 6,3 and 7months baby, loved it as did mum and dad....not too big nor small , good range of animals, great rides, not much qeueing, as in other theme parks, old kids (teenagers would get bored though I think -rides are basic aimed at younger kids)
Make sure Tesco vouchers used and you'll love it
Just bear in mind though food is expensive and of small portion size, though parking is free ...happy days!

Absolutely brilliant place to spend a day, lots of Animals to go around observing, lots of little "did you know" and various educational info points. Also in addition to the Zoo there is the water park and the various rides for kids to go on. Very Clean and Tidy. Recommended for a day visit and also recommend utilising the yearly membership for those with kids, great alternative to soft play centre, especially in the summer.

It was a really great experience feeding a Linnie's Two Toed Sloth and to speak to a keeper who is as knowledgeable about sloths as me

Relatively small, we saw everything within four hours but could have made a day out of it if we stayed in the park / play area part longer. The waterworks for the kids was a great addition to combat the heat. Plenty of animals on show, more the smaller variety than the larger kind though.

Visited Drusillas Park in August 2018 as we were looking for something to entertain our little two year old and we were not disappointed. Ticket prices work out cheaper if you book in advance online (or at least were at the time of going) so try online first. There is a zoo and farm walk around route which is great and includes loads of the smaller,non-standard zoo inhabitants which makes a nice change and I found to be better aimed at smaller children. There is also a small water/splash area which is great. Include the extras like an activity park for the kids, face painting and plenty of places to drink and eat dotted around the park, it was worth a visit.

On Wed. lst August took my granddaughter, my friend and her grandson for the day
to Drusillas Park. What a lovely day we experienced, having visited many years ago
when my children were young to was a treat to go back and see how it has changed
Very good value the staff were brilliant especially in the food restaurant nothing was too
much trouble. The prices for meals etc were very reasonable and very tasty food.
Had a wonderful time would go again.

Had an excellent family day out, amazing animals to see, plenty of play activity play area's for children. We found the zoo staff friendly and polite. Considering we've not been for a bout 6 years, we was extremely amazed how good it was and how much you can do, if you are looking for a family day out, Drusillas Park is a must to do.

I visited for the first time ever today with the family so didn’t know what to expect first impressions were ok good amount of parking and the staff seemed really helpful finding spaces. Queuing to get in but moved really quickly the entrance prices are quite high. we’re in the park in about 5 minutes. Once we got inside the park it was ok all the animals seemed happy and well cared for as you would expect. The splash area was good especially when you have high temperatures like we had today. The kids seemed to enjoy the rides as well. The food looked ok e we didn’t try it because we took a picnic with us. Overall it is a good place to visit with family with kids wouldn’t recommend if it’s adult only party.

I would probably revisit in the future.
