It is a zoo aimed at children. Plenty of information with a laid out route so it is hard to miss anything. Near the end it turns into a large play area with rides etc.

Been coming here for years, since I was a kid. Its great fun, clean and the staff are nice.
I recommend coming with preschool kids during the week to avoid crowds, as it gets mental busy. If you live locally, then getting the annual pass makes a lot of sense as you can just pop in and use the the EPIC playground.

Marked down a star only on the cost.

Hot tip, check for offers and book online. We used Tesco Club card vouchers and saved £20 on a family of 4.

Very well kept and all the animals seem to live in good, clean conditions. Children's play areas are large and varied with some fairground-type rides which my children loved. Overall, a good day out however, it's very expensive for a day trip.

We booked this for our daughters 8th Birthday and she had the best day ever according to her. She is likely to remember this forever as she got up close and personal with several of the animals as well as helping prepare food although she drew the line at cleaning up the poo. Her zookeeper was Charlie and he really took an obvious delight in the educational side of events and was a fount if knowledge about the animals that she was seeing. He made the day perfect for her so a big thanks to him.

She would like to do it again next year so that is high praise indeed. If you consider how much a kids party costs these days and the innumerable pieces of regifted plastic rubbish they receive from their contemporaries I’d rather spend the equivalent (or less!) in a whole days experience here instead as a family.

We visited for my nephews 2nd birthday and we all had such a blast. Lots of animals with large enough windows that toddlers can see in without being picked up. The play area is AMAZING - truly jealous I am not a child! Our boys particularly enjoyed cooling off in the splash zone. The rides are also brilliant and suitable for both young and older children. I will definitely be returning as it was a splendid day and well worth the money.

Fantastic fun for you guys families. The mix of animals, rides and playgrounds keeps kids occupied and wards off boredom for parents. Try and find out when anim
feeding times are and beware high restaurant prices

I visit Drusillas quite often as it is very local to me. Quietest times are when it opens, parking is ample and facilities are very good.
You can stay at the park for a good half a day with little ones. The zoo itself is very nice with a lot of animals to see. At the end of the zoo is a fantastic play area with rides, slides, swings, soft play, a water area... the list could go on!
It is expensive to get in, but that shouldn't put you off. If you want a nice family day out then you should definitely consider here.

My 11 year old had a brilliant time making red panda cake and then feeding it to them! The zoo keeper was very friendly and informative and we were able to get really close to the red pandas . An unforgettable experience!

Took my family there on a day trip. Fantastic Zoo, lots of informative challenges so the kids definitely learn whilst they’re having fun.

Luckily the weather was fantastic so we enjoyed the wet play and all the rides. We particularly enjoyed the interactive maze, something you don’t see at many attractions these days.

My only criticism is it’s a little pricey.
