After shock of price to get in we all decided it was worth it. Once inside lots to do and see, much of which was 'free'. It was staffed by lots of young people who were very happy and helpful.

Just got back from an amazing family day out! From the moment we pulled into the car park a can't find fault! My two boys (8 and 5) were smiling all day! The adventure playground was awesome and the kids loved it too! Staff all very helpful and polite. Everything clean and tide. Boys were learning and didn't even know it! The climbing wall was a big plus for the 8 year old. Feeding the parrots was hilarious! No long queues for hours for a 2 minute ride like other more expensive parks. Thanks to all at Drusillas, We will be back next year for sure!!!!

Had a great day out. Always something new and Hello Kitty World was still fun for my 9 year old daughter-we took all the rides twice. The zoo was great and we cant wait to go back.

So I made my second Visit to Drusillas Park this year and again we were not to be disappointed.

We got a warm friendly welcome when we arrived as I had booked my 6 yr old daughter in to an animal experience but that experience wasn't to come until later in the day. Again as soon as we got in my daughter went looking for the booklet so she could stamp what animals she had seen on her visit with the stamps by some of the animals. Again incredibly clean on the Park, even though it was busier than my last visit it was still very comfortable to move around and see the animals.

The fantastic play area was proving very popular with the guests and was very busy but again it was fine as my daughter managed to get on everything she wanted to.

Again my daughter wanted to try some of the paid for activities which were very reasonably priced. She tried the vertical slide and went hunting for Fossils in the sand area. The young lady Melanie (I think that was her name) manning the area was really engaging with my daughter which always makes a difference.

Then it was off to the Bat Experience, we were met by Peter who was absolutely lovely throughout the whole experience with my daughter. For her to get up and close to bats was a dream come true for her and Peter made it a truly memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. We have some amazing memories and my daughter can't stop talking about it.

Lunch on the park was great and as I said in my last review great choice. I also love that even the toilets are children friendly with lower sinks and smaller toilets for the little ones.

You just can't go wrong visiting this beautiful attraction. Top day out.

Every year our charity Children with Cancer Fund are invited by the wonderful people at Drusillas to take part in the world wide Dreamnight event.

This is were various charities are invited to visit the park after normal closing hours. It is an absolutely marvellous experience and children, mum/dads/carers all have a thoroughly wonderful time. There is a free BBQ, facepainting all the play area's are open and every child has the opportunity to take home a present as well as ride on Thomas the Tank Engine and the new Hello Kitty World makes it extra special.

The Children with Cancer Fund are always well looked after by the Drusillas team and can't thank them enough, ALL our children want to attend this wonderful event.

Fantastic day out with the children . The zoo was great . The activities for the children are varied with a great choice for the younger age group . Some things you had to pay extra for which I found a bit disappointing when the entrance fee was expensive enough . All rides should be free for the older children like they are for the younger age group . Would get more people wanting too visit

Felt that the zoo was very well done. A lot of thought put into it and was fun, educational and enjoyable. The other activities were also good and the kids really enjoyed. the price for the family of 5 though was really on the pricey side though

Lots of play areas and animals to see but as might be expected in summer hols very very busy. Not sure if there is a visitor number limit but for the price there should be.

I had a great time feeding the Penguins going behind the scenes and learning about life at the zoo. It's a great experience for adults as well as children and would look to be a zoo keeper for the day!

Fantastic day out for all the family. So much to do we went when Ben and Holly were there my girls loved having their photo taken and there was no rush they made the effort to actually talk to the children. Cant comment on food as did not eat there but fun for all ages

Nice little park which is very clean and tidy. There is animals to see and a few rides but I would say it is a place for smaller children. There is a big children's play area and the fast food place is not bad. It is expensive to get in so you need a money off voucher. It is a day's worth of entertainment so overall a nice place to visit if the weather is nice.

My wife noticed a Creepy Crawly day advertised at Drusillas a couple of months back, and as my 4yr old is obsessed with mini-beasts, we stuck it on the calendar.
We recalled going to Drusillas on a wet day about 15 years ago, pre-kids. Our hazy recollections weren't great: not much there, very small train, some animals. So hopes weren't overly high. How wrong we were!
The park is essentially split into two, with the zoo part first, then the park/play areas. The zoo is great, well laid out, a wonderful range of animals, as well as a petting zoo, where my 7yr old's day was made by stroking ponies. As you follow a route, it's much easier to keep an eye on small children, who tend to wander off given half a chance. The Creepy Crawly session, organised with the British Tarantula Society, was brilliant. They were very informative, reassuring, fun, full of great knowledge, and we got to see and touch all sorts of amazing spiders and insects!
After all that, we stopped for food - very well priced, and very good quality.
The park is small, but good fun. There's a set of above-the-ground walkways/slides for kids (and *ahem* adults) to clamber around, a very fun maze, and a small water play area. We wrapped up the day with ice creams, coffee (Starbucks on site!), and a couple of goes on the Hello Kitty ride.
A wonderful day out for a young family - well priced, well thought out, clean and tidy. You can tell the staff take great pride in their park!

It is difficult to know who enjoyed this day more my granddaughter or my wife who escorted her ?
The day was informative, exciting and entertaining and they are both left with treasured memories that will last a very long time. Staff member Carla, who supervised the day, was knowledgeable, caring and enthusiastic and made this one -to -one experience an outstanding success.
Indeed 9 year old Evie now aspires to work with animals and my wife has thoughts on volunteering to help the zoo. I offer my sincere thanks to all concerned for a first class effort.

We came here on Wednesday 22nd of July, it was a Inset day and when possible we go out on day trips on these days due to it being less busy, we used our Tesco Clubcard vouchers and thank goodness we did cos a family of 4 (one was under 2 so was free) would of cost a expensive £58!!! Personally that's a lot of money seen as it's smaller than a lot of parks and some of the rides you will have to pay £3 per child!
At the entrance there's the pay booths which were well thought out, similar style to Legoland, it was simple to gain entry, once in there was a quite tight foyay which had some animals to view, this was difficult to manover when having a pushchair but once you get past this you can choose to go to the zoo or the farm, we choose the zoo, this was so lovely, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the animals, we had a 23 month old with us and she loved viewing all the animals, walking about, pointing and smiling, my son who was 8 just wanted to get to the rides!!! The viewing windows were all low level so my young daughter could view perfectly, it is small but we'll thought out and easy to get round with staff around at areas where the public needed to be cautious, once out of the zoo we arrived at the parks rides, my sons favorite bit, we had our lunch and fed our daughter, he couldn't tear himself away from the rides, once I finally got him off them to have his lunch we were sorted!
Once we all finished our lunch that we brought with us as we know as a fact lunch there would be expensive! We moved onto Hello kitty land, this was small but well thought out, my daughter could only go on one of the rides due to her age and this was the car ride, we moved onto some more rides with some picnic area, these rides you pay for as I previously said, my son choose one ride, the dinousour dig,if you have more than one child on these rides will be a very costly experience, luckily we got tickets into Drussilas using my Clubcard vouchers so we didn't pay the hefty price to get in or we would not be very happy! We moved onto getting some souvenirs and as expected this was a very expensive thing to do but we like to, I then wanted to move onto the farm and we found finding this was not a easy task but once found this was small but very nice, just enough really.
We then moved onto the soft play area, this was amazing, well thought out and they had a great time here, the toilets were not very nice though and could do with a clean up! The toilets in the play park were very good and clean so I can't understand why they can't be better, it reminded me something out of a porter cabin!
After that my son decided to go home as he said he was tired!!!!
All in all a good day out and worth the visit but if your intending to go bring your own food and if you can bypass the rides you have to pay for but as you can't exit the park without going through there this can't be avoided.

Took my daughter and her friend here to celebrate the first day of the school holidays.
Bought an advance on-line family ticket for the 3 of us for £46.50 which saved us £6,50 on the gate price.
We got through the zoo part of the park in just under an hour and the girls then proceeded to spend the next 4 and a half hours running wild in the adventure playground, indoor soft play, paddling pool, the maze and the Hello Kitty rides.
They both pronounced, as they were leaving the gift shop, that they had had "the best day ever" so maybe the entrance fee wasn't all that steep after all,

My partner and I took our 4 year old daughter here, the animals were great and she had great fun using the stampers in the little book to mark the animals we had seen. The children's play park was good, we took a picnic with us which we ate at the park. My daughter went panning for gold which cost £4, and she received a medal for her gold, then she went fossil digging £3, bit of a disappointed gift received for finding 3 items, a tiny plastic dinosaur, but I think she had fun playing in the sand. We met Ben and Holly and she even got to hold Holly's wand, we had a ride on Thomas and onto Hello Kitty's secret garden for a few more rides, all in all we had a fantastic day, with lots of things to do.

Had a brilliant day with my nearly 3 year old, so many animals and so much to do. Food is brilliant also, lots of variety from hot food to jelly and at a great price. Staff are very friendly especially in restaurant. Play area is separated for younger and older kids and also an indoor soft play with cafe for colder days. Gift shop a bit expensive but good quality gifts, clothes bags etc. Entrance fee a bit pricey but if you're local membership is definitely a must. :)

Had a lovely day out here (though we were round it in a few hours). Great selection of animals, plenty to see and do, hello kitty park we found a little over rated (perhaps expected more through what we had heard). Though does have a few rides. Prices seem more fair then they used to be in my opinion. Think they could take the hello kitty park to an even further dimension. We'll be back in the future.

There id definitely a lot on offer a Drusillas, but the entry fee is quite expensive for a family of four. I was then shocked to find that many of the attractions inside charged a further fee for you to use them! The zoo is quite interesting and the restaurant is OK in both cost and quality for an attraction of this type, but the poverall cost is too much, even for what you get.

There was plenty for everyone to do on our recent visit to Drusilla's. We were a large group of people ranging from 1 year old to over 60 and we all came away happy after a lovely day out. My daughter fell over and I took her to the First Aid team who were very kind and took care of her. I was very grateful.

This attraction looks fantastic. It is in the heart of wonderful walking country and is easy to get to.

There are two excellent B&Bs next door: the English Wine Centre (where you can also buy wine and eat in the lovely restaurant) and Dawes House, which has an excellent family suite (the red room) and a sitting room for the use of guests between the red room and the blue room.

This is in the wonderful South Downs National Park so you can spend one day with the children at Drusillas and the next taking them for a walk in the nearby countryside...where we saw a hen harrier!

There is a heck of a lot packed in to a relatively small area. A well laid out park, great pains have been taken to ensure the animals are in as much a natural environment as possible but still viewable. Loved the feeding the birds with the nectar, that was amazing, I didn't think I would see my granddaughter milking a cow (not a real one) but there she was having a go! Cafe prices are what you would expect - a little high but you can take a picnic

Visited Drusillas for a pre-booked close encounter day. The price included myself and a friend tickets to the Zoo. We spent an enjoyable afternoon watching the animals. This zoo is definitely aimed at young children with lots of fun activities for them to interact and learn. I will definitely go back there with my 7 yr old Grandson. As for the actual close encounter, I couldn't fault it. Angela is very knowledgeable and is clearly passionate about spiders and also good with people as I was quite nervous but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone who wants to try and get over a fear, as in my case or simply likes spiders and wants to know more.

We had a fantastic day at Drusillas kids thoroughly enjoyed it and so much to do. Today was especially great no queuing 😃my only issue was no cash machines and loads of cash only areas! I think that alot of people only carry cards these days so maybe this may be a thing to think about in the future or advertise this fact better. However it is a lovely day out
