We had an excellent, very full, day at Drusilla's and were extremely impressed with the whole place. The animal enclosures are lovely, and every single one had animals in, which was a pleasant surprise!

My two sons, aged 3 and 5, loved the interactive parts, and we were all really impressed with the amount of information available about all of the animals.

The whole place was clean and well-maintained and the staff were friendly and professional. We all thought the food was excellent quality, and we were impressed by the variety of food and the large amount of places to sit.

The children's play areas, both inside and out, were first class and, again, were clean and well-maintained. The only problem we had was trying to tear the kids away at the end of the day!

Overall, an absolutely brilliant day out for all the family. I'd highly recommend a trip, and will certainly visit again next time I'm in the area. Thank you, drusilla's, for an enjoyable and memorable day.

We took our 11 year old daughter to Drusillas and we all really loved it. We thought It was fantastic value and the whole day was packed with fun things to do. My daughter loved stamping the animal spotter book and doing all the activities. There was so much to do and a large selection of animals. I loved that we was able to take our daughter into some of the enclosures to get closer to the animals. The park was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, they looked happy to work at Drusillas. We found it all very relaxing and can not wait to go back again.

A lovely day out for all the family but especially so if you have a disabled child. Our 8 year old is severely disabled and it is becoming increasingly difficult to take him out for the day with regards to changing his nappy. Most attractions only have a baby change which is too small to get an 8 year old on and a disabled toilet which we then have to lay him on the floor. Would you want to lay your child on a public toilet floor? Drusillas have an amazingly good disabled changing room with a proper padded wipe clean mattress big enough to hold a child up to about the age where you cant lift them anymore without a hoist. I was so impressed. Thank you Drusillas for being so accessible for kids like our little man.

I took both my children aged 3 and 10 years along to the park. This was our first visit and I can honestly say I was amazed at what there was to offer.

Both my children were occupied thoughout the whole day, with activities available such as the Zoolypmpics and the Animal spotter books.. I often find it hard to find day trips out that accomadate both their ages but Drusillas successfully completed this. The ride on Thomas the train topped the day off!!!

The staff were all very helpful, the food was reasonably priced too..

Fantastic day - Keep up the hard work it was great!!!!!

We recently stayed at Pontins Camber Sands and chose to visit Drusillas on our route home as a way of breaking up the journey. I had managed to get entrance to Drusillas via Tesco Club Card and therefore only paid £6 per person which was an absolute bargain.

The Zoo is brilliant. . .it has all manner of small animals some of which I've never seen before. The range of monkeys is brilliant. .. we got there at 10.15 and my little boy was easily engaged until 2.30 when we left and would have kept going. . .incidentally he has just turned 4. Not only was my little boy engaged but I really enjoyed seeing some of the animals too. . specially some of the more unusual monkeys - there were several babies hanging around too which added to the enjoyment.

The play areas were brilliant and there was a nice picnic area which offered plenty of space. There were a handful of items which had an additional charge i.e. bouncy slide £3.00 for 6 go's.

I will definitely be going back to this park, as there are items to engage the children as they get older and help them to learn about the animals.

The toilet facilities were impressive as well. They looked new. . and I liked the fact that there were facilities outside, so if you were queueing you were still able to "go". . .although we did not queue at all and it was a Monday during school holidays. There were no steps involved so buggys and wheelchairs would not encounter any issues.

Definitely worth a visit.

Was looking for somewhere to take my 6 year old daughter. We have been to other parks/zoos around the South East but haven't been to Drusillas since I was a child myself. What a great choice!! We had a superb day. Our daughter absolutely loved being able to get so close to the birds in the Lory Landing section and the Lemurs in Lemur Land. The indoor and outdoor adventure park kept her entertained while we stopped for refreshments. Highly recommended!!

We all love going to drusillas and it keeps getting better each time we visit. There is so much for the children to do and many new attractions so they always have an exciting day out. Great value for money and something to offer everybody.

My 11 yr old daughter wants to be a zookeeper when She grows up so what could be more perfect on her birthday than being a zookeeper for a day ?! It was expensive but I can truly say it was worth it. My daughter was lucky enough to have the most brilliant keeper with her for the day who even managed to get me to touch a snake at the end of the day !! Her enthusiasm was amazing and even won me round !! We always go to drusillas anyway but I would definately recommend this experience my daughter said it was one of the best days of her life so worth every penny :)

We've always loved Drusillas, but recently organised for our 13 year old Son to be 'A keeper for the day'. We all really enjoyed the day, our 'keeper' was so friendly, cheerful and knowledgable, nothing was too much trouble!
Although it seems like quite a lot of money when you book it, it really is worth while. Our Son was in the enclosures with lots of the animals, feeding them, mucking out, with lots of holding and stroking when appropriate. He got a 'Keeper for the day' T Shirt & badge to wear and then keep and a certificate at the end of the day.
I recommend it!

A great combination of zoo and playpark - educational and fun. We arrived as Drusillas opened... and they had to kick us out after it closed as we were still trying to cram everything in! My 9- and 5-year-olds both really enjoyed themselves. The family trails to do on your way round are a great way to make sure the children actually see the animals and learn something about them as they do so, for example how human skills and strengths compare to members of the animal kingdom, rather than rushing straight for the play areas. There are fun activities to do at every turn. Once you've completed that part of the visit, the play areas are really great. There are all sorts of interesting climbing frames, unusual playground equipment and indoor play areas... something for children of all ages. There's also a 'funfair' area with bouncy slides, panning for gold etc - all at extra cost but all good fun. There's even a craft hut where my two made panda masks which they thoroughly enjoyed. It's not a cheap day out but considering the sheer number of things to do and see I would say it's money very well spent. We will be returning as soon as the weather improves!

We went here in July with our 9 & 6 year olds and had a great time. I don't actually think the leaflet does it justice. I thought my 9 would get bored as it looked geared up for youngers ones but we spent a couple of hours looking round zoo then at least 1 1/2 hours in paddling pool, maze & play parks. Although we bought our tickets with vouchers from a well known supermarket , I would buy a full price family ticket again. Most things were included apart from panning for gold, crazy golf & penguin slide. Tbh the kids didn't need to do these things as there was plenty others free things to do so we didn't! Food on a par with most places like this, not the worst , not the best but with choices for everyone, didn't come for the food however & you could always bring a packed lunch. Would definitely recommend to anyone visting the area.

My daughter declared it "the best birthday EVER!" after an all-day outing with her friends. She got to feed the penguins as part of the package, which she absolutely loved, especially when they fed right out of her hand! The park promotes itself for young families, but our group of 9 year olds (plus two teenage big sisters) all loved it, and actually stopped and read some of the animal information, as well as cooing over the cute animals, and enjoying the play area.

The children's meal included in the deal was excellent. In the Explorers restaurant, the kids had their own table and seated on the party 'throne' my daughter couldn't stop smiling! We also bought the Drusillas party bags, which were reasonable value, and took our own cake, with the restaurant providing a cake stand and napkins.

We were lucky that - given the current climate - it didn't rain whilst we were outside, in fact it got warm enough for the kids to take off their coats AND vests! Apparently this climate difference is helped by the park's proximity to the South Downs, which shelter it from a lot of the rain.

We have lots of great photos of a fantastic day out - not the cheapest party ever, but the best.

Drusillas bills itself as a zoo, but it has introduced more and more outdoor adventure play equipment in recent years, plus a Thomas the Tank engine train ride and an indoor play shed. Our children (aged 6 and 4) love going there. The animals are well cared for and always look healthy and lively. You can feed the lorikeets and meet the lemurs close up too. There is plenty to do and we generally stay for about 5 hours. The on-site food is quite expensive, but they are happy for you to bring a picnic and you can leave it in the car and get stamped to leave and go and get it and come back in. You are not allowed to eat your own food inside though so look for a clean picnic table (there are loads) and take a coat!

Our kids like seeing the animals but like the adventure play stuff more. It has big wooden structures with rope climbs, zip wires, swirly slides and swings in abundance. The over 12s might find it a bit babyish, but could still have fun on this equipment.

The toilets are good, with great facilities for baby changing and younger children and there are plenty of places to park a buggy too.

Another plus point is there are loads of staff on hand to help out. I saw at least 3 emptying bins and picking up litter on our last visit. Volunteers work in the animal pens and tell you about the squirrel monkeys and the capybaras. All in all a really good family day out.

Spent a full day here with my two grandchildren (9 & 5). We only live 15 minutes away but in 25 yrs had never visited. Now we will be going regularly.
The first part of the visit is the zoo, just about the right size for the kids not to get spoiled., then comes the surprise, in the centre of the park is a great play area split into age groups. This really wears them out, then after to calm them down the ride on 'Thomas the tank engine' then the short trip home. Absolutely brilliant. As I say we shall be making it a regular trip. The entrance fees seem a lot but take it from me it's worth it.

I was lucky enough to get up close and personal to the lemurs at Druisillas! As a birthday surprise I fed the lemurs! It was incredible to be so close to the lemurs who are delightful and entertaining animals. I was able to hand each lemur indivdually a seed pod which they took so gently from me! The lemur keeper loves her job and talked fondly about all the lemurs in her care and about their different personalities. Although I was lucky enough to go right inside their enclosure, the enclosure is so open that anybody can see the lemurs at close proximity. Along with the experience itself, I received a certificate, badge and discount in the restaurant. It was a really memorable birthday surprise and I will always fondly remember my lemur encounter. Having never visited Drusillas before, I was really impressed with the whole park. The enclosures are so well designed that you feel very close to all the animals. The animals all look very happy and very well cared for. The staff are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Drusillas has something for everyone and is very family friendly in all its facilities. I enjoyed the day so much so, I bought some pre-paid tickets so my brother and his young family can visit over the summer! I have also recommended they bring swimming costumes for the little pool, if it is a hot day. Well done Drusillas. Keep up the excellent work.

my son was a zoo keeper for a day for his birthday. The zoo keeper looking after him was amazing, very friendly. The day was filled with a wide range of experiences such as penguin feeding, meerkats and meeting the leemars. My son couldnt decide on his best bit as the whole day was fantastic. A great experience for any animal lover.

We have visited Drusillas a few times and it's a nice place, the animals are all well looked after and appear to be content, there are plenty of facilities. It is very much geared around kids so as a happy to be childless couple that can get a bit wearing but we go to photograph the animals and we always enjoy our time there. Worth a visit but avoid the obviously kiddy areas!!! Unless you have them of course.

i have been visiting drusillas with my children for the past 10 years in that time we have always found lots to amuse us the park strives to keep updating and bettering itself. nearly every time we visit there are cries of "thats new". admittedly as a one off the park is expensive we have been members for a good few years which is well worth it if future visits are likely. the park is always spotless , the food good and the staff friendly. i was lucky enough to be bought a photo opportunity day recently which consisted of three hours behind the scenes and up close and personal with some of the animals. i had a wonderful time and could nt praise the member of staff highly enough. we are probably coming to the end of our drusillas time as my children are now 12 and 9 but it has been an amazing place for them and me

This is mainly a zoo park with some attractions in it. We went on the Fireman Sam day and had a brilliant time.

First walking through all the animal areas, stopping for a bite to eat near the events area (where my daughter met Fireman Sam) and then enjoying some of the play activities, including a ride on Thomas the Tanks Engine.

There's face-painting available and loads of things to do. We'll visit again but next time probably use the restaurant near the exit for food rather than the burger bar near the events arena, we only found that as we were leaving which is a shame as it looked very good.

This is not a cheap day out by any means. If we lived closer we'd probably get the annual pass to make it worth while but in truth we probably won't visit more than twice a year.

The attraction was also spotless, and every member of staff I met was happy, smiling, polite and enthusiastic. Which all adds to the day.
