We are very pleased to visit again after lockdown. So much fun at every turn especially the climbing and water area. We have an annual pass and it means we can do sections or spend the whole day. Definitely recommend getting one. The staff are always helpful and the animals look well loved.

We visited with four children - two aged 5 and two aged 8. They all really enjoyed it. I thought the older boys might not be impressed with the rides as much as the younger ones but they definitely seemed to. I’d say Drusillas is mainly aimed at younger children though. I think any older than around eight wouldn’t get the benefit from it. A lovely family day out though.

My daughter had a zoo keeper experience, she had such an enjoyable day she couldn’t stop talking about it. Simon the zoo keeper that looked after her was great she thought he was amazing.
Would really recommend this experience!

The 'Keeper for the Day' experience far surpassed our expectations and in the words of my 8yo daughter, 'it was the best day of my life'.

Our keeper Sam was absolutely amazing. He made us feel so welcome, was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable and had such fantastic stories and facts to keep an 8yo (and parent) captivated.

Sam was an asset to Drusillas: we could really tell how much consideration, kindness and care goes into looking after your animals and wider conservation. We loved meeting so many different animals and hearing about their personalities, histories and the dynamics of the community within their enclosures. We have been to Drusillas countless times- it is a very well loved zoo for us- however the experience gave us a completely new perspective. It will be a memory which will last a lifetime and Sam has truly inspired our 8yo.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the day to all ages and my younger daughter (and husband!) are waiting in anticipation to become a Keeper for the Day for her 7th Birthday present later this year.

My 4 year old daughter adored the hello kitty car ride. My year old son thought the pepperoni pizza was the best he’d ever had. My 76 year old father appreciated all the well-placed benches. Everyone had a fantastic time in the sweltering sunshine. Even the young volunteer whose job it was to stand in a bat enclosure redolent with the stench of guano managed to keep a broad smile on his face, to his immense credit and my eternal admiration. A great experience and highly recommended!

Took my daughter to druscillas yesterday. She really enjoyed it. Staff were lovely and so many things to do. I was really impressed with the pricing in the gift shop, after going to some child places their items were reasonably priced. The one thing I would say is it would be nice if they had some shaded areas in the play parks like go wet.

We visited during half term. It has many rides, the great thing is you don’t have to wait a long time for each ride.

Great day out, blessed to see some wonderful animals and information, though for some audiences there will not be enough focused on the animals, with large swathes given over to rides and adventure areas for kids. However, that's the nature of many places and it's all good and a superb family day out, highly recommended even during peak times. On site catering provision during Covid restrictions could have been done better, perhaps more staff or better use of the space available, it was very slow getting any food or drinks, which did detract from the overall experience. This should not be the case once restrictions fully lifted.

Good place for kids. Some animals are kept in small spaces for my opinion which made me sad despite place was clean and all animals looked healthy. Only restaurant in the park very slow

First, the price £104 for 2 adults and 2 children under 8. Booking in advance using the website was easy but that's about the only good thing.

What was fantastic however was it's wasn't too busy due to restricted entries.

Minimal queues for rides. Water park is well worth a visit. Takes some towels however as there is absolutely no privacy whatsoever to get changed, adults or children which definitely needs attention. The water did feel warm and it's only jets / sprays and a puddle, no chance of water incidents as no life life guard.

Pic below of the menu. The queue to get food was about 25min. Trust me, it's worth knowing what you want before you get to the till. The food is good though and decent portions.

Animals are a great attraction. The animals are a smaller part though. Most of the attractions are rides now. Although disappointing, if it's a way to keep the Zoo and it's history going then that can only be a positive.

We spent 5 hours in the park. Worth going again but maybe not leave it 25 years.

We used Tesco clubcard points to pay for our tickets, which were tripled so for us it was great value.

We arrived later at the park than planned (12.30) due to having a toddler but this worked well as we seemed to avoid queues/crowds in the zoo area. Our one year old enjoyed seeing the monkeys, birds and meerkats close up and the zoo section was very educational with lots of interactive displays for older children.

We didn't make use of the playgrounds as my son isn't old enough but they looked great for 2-10 year olds, especially the splash park. I would really recommend this place to families.

Only downside was the queue for food. As we went on a weekday only one cafe in the middle of the park was open and at 1.30 the queue for food was long and food choice fairly limited. There was also quite limited seating which was full. We only realised after having lunch that there was more seating around the other side of the cafe - better signage for this seating would be good.

Most of the park had one way systems in place to fit with Covid restrictions but some people were going the wrong way. Again better signage would help with this.

A great day out and we will come back next time we are in the area.

Lots to do with kids. Play area, splash area, rides, zoo. Kids had a great day. Only improvement would be to have a few more food places as queues can be long.
