Boring for me lol. Went on a Saturday. Wasn't particularly busy. Thanks god. Have visited before several years ago. Not much has changed. My son liked looking at the animals. My only gripe in the zoo part was buggies!! They were everywhere! I felt like I was on the krypton factor trying to find my way through them all! I understand Mums need to bring them but instead of leaving them in the way. Move them out of the way. Went to the playground after the zoo. Son enjoyed this. We had food which wasn't great to be honest. Then went to the new water park/splash area. It was fab. You could sit on the fake grass. It was comfortable enjoy the sun whilst the little one played. Went back to the playground. Then left. Spent a good 5hrs there. Will visit again but bypass the zoo.

Drusillas is clean and tidy with lots to do. My kids loved the animals, the train, the park, the hello kitty rides and the swim/splash pool! We could have spent 2 days here as the here was so much to do (sunshine helped!). Would like to see some
Picnic seating in the play area (tables are for purchased food only). The only drawback is the price (over £70 for a family of 4) but would highly recommend using Tesco Clubcard points to swap for tickets as brilliant value!

Went to Drusillas yesterday with my husband, 3 young children, parents and 2 nephews, was overall a really good day. Everything is very clean and tidy there. The beginning part I found was a bit too....tight...busy..was desperate to find some space/area to have lunch - had to zoom ahead with everyone in the end to the large amazing play area to sit and eat, then back track and go back through the areas we zoomed through previously. Noticed most animals were all very ...quiet/sleeping. Massive lonely frog was in a small tank, poor thing, fed the small birds some nectar, that was lovely, train ride was ok, hello kitty area was really nice.
Recommended overall. Nice day out. Adventure playground area is masssssive.

An enjoyable stroll around the Zoo trail, it did get a bit claustrophobic in the inside areas, especially as there were large groups of small children who were excitedly banging all the information flaps down, can't be to restful for the animals! But on the whole a good selection of small animals to observe, we ate at one of the food halls, the staff were very efficient and helpful and the food was good value and tasty, I would expect younger children to get much more out of this place as our two are well past the Hello kitty stage :-)

Love this place there is soo much to see and do from animals to toddlers pool to a train ride to slides and swings and climbing and an indoor adventure park, aimed at the toddler to the ten year old age group, this is no ordinary zoo, our 4 year old absolutely loved it!!! The food in the cafes wasn't too badly priced although we did take a picnic and there are plenty of places to sit and eat. Will definitely be returning 😄👍🏼

Visited yesterday with my 4 young children and we all had an awesome day. So much to do and see, explore and play. Lots of lovely animals that you actually get to see, loads of interactive areas where the children can learn, amazing play areas, fab rides in Hello Kitty land and a ride on Thomas plus the new water park was brilliant. Kids literally enjoyed every single second. Honesty couldn't recommend highly enough.

Visited today especially for my son to see his favourite characters Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol. Arrived 15 mins before opening and there were already hundreds of cars there with huge queues to get in, but the queue moved quick and the staff on the entrance were very efficient getting people in quick. We were prepared for a busy day as it was their first Paw Patrol event, even one of the staff said they have never seen it so busy! But it didnt bother us we were still able to see all the animals and play in the new splash pad which my 5 year old loved along with all the other attractions. The queue to see Paw Patrol was long but well organised with cafes nearby to grab a snack while you wait or in our case an ice cream as it waa such a lovely day!! We had a brilliant time, so much to see and do and the only thing we had to queue for was to see Paw Patrol which you have got to expect especially in the summer holidays. Overall amazing day out for adults and kids. And we used clubcard vouchers to get in (only £6pp) so another bonus. Cant wait to go back

We visited with our daughter and her partner as he hadn't visited there since he was a youngster. It was great value and we really enjoyed looking at all the animals. All the animals looked well cared for and we were surprised how much it had changed and how much there was to do.

Great day out with the kids, bit pricy but still worth it

A fun day out, with quite a lot to do and recent investment really showed.

Quite pricey but you can use clubcard vouchers which were £6 a person at the time of writing. Good food selection and we found the fast food we bought to be really good quality. We spent five hours there in the end, doing the zoo, food and the outdoor play. There is a lot in the zoo with lots of staff around and various activities including feeding birds, watching animals being fed and little observation areas for the kids in some areas. Also a zoo Olympics with activities along the way. All good fun.

Minor points were that indoor play area seating could do with expanding and more guidance needed on front gate as most people queued for one turnstile so we felt guilty legitimately walking to the other open one that people obviously thought was for members only (that one was on the other side of it).

Worth getting there early as we do, as previous experience with overflow parking was a very muddy car!

Went there today after hearing lots of good things about it, and wasn't disappointed. Lots to do and loads to keep the kids entertained. The one negative I would say is that I had to pay full price for my daughter who is 2 yet she was not even tall enough to ride one of the hello kitty rides she wanted to go on. If they can't go on everything why charge such a high price?

A fun family day out with plenty to keep the kids entertained even once you've seen all the animals the park has to offer. My one criticism is that entry is very expensive but if you've got tesco clubcard points it's much better value.

We loved every minute of our trip to Drusillas Park!

The kids were in awe with the animals, enjoyed their lunch and then getting the faces painted and sitting on the rides just topped it off.

All the staff were very pleasant and we found that there wasn't an element of rush... It was very calm so we were able to take our time to stand and watch the animals...

... I compare this to my various visits to famous zoo in central London where people are pushing in and at times rude..

Drusillas is just wonderful! I enjoyed it more than the kids i think!

Keep up the good work!

The venue is great for children, and the staff are very enthusiastic. The failing is in the density of the enclosures and walkways. Using a mobility scooter, you are made to feel like you are constantly in the way. I nearly ran over the same child 5 times, as some parents forget they are still meant to keep an eye on their children.
Some areas are marked no pushchairs, so this is ambiguous, as you don't know if this is not for wheelchairs and scooters due to space issues. So didn't try to access these parts just in case got stuck.
The pathways are very cramped and are all over the place with slopes in all directions. Not good when trying to stay upright in a mobility scooter.

I visited with my boyfriend as we were staying in the area and both fancied a day at the zoo (especially one with penguins).

We both loved it! The monkeys especially as there are many different breeds to see and there are so many baby animals- can't believe how tiny the meerkat's are!

The zoo is big but the zoo route is clearly marked and makes it much more fun than faffing around with a complicated map (if like me you want to make sure that you haven't missed anything!)

It is clearly a big hit with families, there is a train around the park, hello kitty land, a wet play area and much much more. But it is also a really great place to visit as a couple- the animal feeding times are fun to watch and the keepers are more than happy to answer any questions you have. I especially enjoyed the boards giving information next to the animals including a 'fun fact' for each!

In comparison to other zoos the main thing I noticed is how much room the animals have, with plenty of good viewing positions- lovely to see a zoo which cares more about the animals they have than how many they can fit in.

We will definitely be visiting again!

A perfect day out with our 2 children aged 9 and 10. Every animal is visible! All available with different viewing heights for people. Activities to keep children engaged and always plenty of staff around if you want to ask questions. To finish the day off is a good play in the vast playground. All in all a fabulous day out!

Our animal obsessed 8 year old had an unbelievable experience as 'Keeper for the day'. From preparing meerkat meals, mucking out capybaras' beds to feeding beavers and bats and getting hands on with an armadillo, our son was totally immersed in a keeper's life. Julie, the keeper who guided him through the day, was simply wonderful. Clearly hugely dedicated to her role, she shared her knowledge, skills and love of the animals with great patience, enthusiasm and humor.

The day was perfectly paced but packed with things to do, with lunch included and an hour or to of free time at the end of the day. Our entire family left with an even greater understanding and appreciation of the remarkable job that the Drusillas keepers do in caring for the animals and sharing their love and respect of them with visitors. And guess what our son wants to be when he grows up?

Really good Zoo with an excellent play area for the kids. They also loved Hello Kitty Land. The staff were also excellent, especially when we needed first aid assistance for one of the kids. They had someone to us in under 5mins, who was great and sorted out our daughter after a fall.

Nothing like the usual type of zoo, and mostly only monkeys. Very educational and brilliantly thought-out BUT I was appalled that, in this day and age, at the refreshment places there was nothing to eat except chips, crisps, sweets, sweets, more sweets, ice cream and doughnuts. All around us were fat mothers, pot-bellied fathers and potentially fat children. It was like being in the US !

This was our first visit as a family for over 20 years - three generations in attendance this time. It is as good as we remember it; it has changed hands but is still family run and has maintained quite a few of the features from 20 years ago, without it feeling dated or rundown. Other parts of the park have definitely been updated, especially in the play park and this provided great entertainment for the grandchildren. Definitely worth the money.

Went to drusillas with four generations. It's was a glorious day not to hot but pleasantly warm. We went in the parks and the pools we went on the rides in hello kitty world but best of all was the animals and lovely little collection. The red pandas were fab but all were really kept nicely. We had a one and two year old who were kept entertained for hours. This is a must if you have small children it wasn't over busy and the online price saves you money. Coffee in Costa was reasonably priced and toilets were spread evenly throughout the park. Really good for kids and wonderful for families to watch Thor little ones having fun. If you want a fun chilled dY this is a great place to go

This is the second time we have been to the park, it's a great place for the younger children, although my daughter is now 8 she still enjoyed it. There is plenty todo, although make sure you pack some towels and swimming outfits for the kids as there is a wet play area and there is also a paddling pool next to hello kitty's secret garden. The zoo is great with plenty of things to see and do. Hello kitty secret garden added 3 rides for the children, which my little ones loved. Highly recommended. My ownly grip about this place is the ticket price, it's very expensive. It's a comparable price to chessington world of adventures and London zoo. However it is something different and offers something for everyone, but it's not a amazement park with big scary rides! Coffee and cafe prices are fair and are pretty good value considering. Also we went at peak time children's holidays and it still seemed a very good flow around the park and never too busy. This is the last year the Thomas train will be there.

Brilliant park, tons to do:- exotic animals (lemurs, marmosets, monkeys etc), farm animals, large outdoor play park, indoor soft play, new splash zone, Hello kitty small rides zone, lagoon pool, maze a little faded now but still fun. Lots of interactive fun info boards, buttons for kids to press around the site.
Steep price £18.50 adult or child for the day. Much better value for annual membership.
If your child likes the wall climbing and penguin slide then gold membership will save you a fortune.
Brilliant fun, well worth membership. Xx
Also lots to do in light rain, much is undercover.

It is fun - we were there with a 5 year old and a 9 year old, and they had a whale of a time - appropriate animals, lots of information presented in an attractive and enjoyable way. But at the end, the fact that most of the attractions in the funfair had to be paid for as extras came as a bit of a shock, making it a very expensive day out. The food was pretty basic, too.
