Perfect for the little ones . 1 and 1/2 year old to 5 year old. Play area awesome for them . Great to walk through the zoo to get to the play area.

First discovered Drusilla's in 1983, and have been visiting on every occasion we go to Alfriston, over the years have seen many changes all for the best, the animals are certainly care for, the staff are friendly and helpful, the cafeteria is nice, and there are many toilets within the grounds, and will continue to visit every time we go to the beautiful village of Alfriston, takes us back many years, peaceful and tranquil.

Been working here for nearly 8 years now. I love it so much! My colleagues are all so lovely and it's a perfect day out to take your kids! So much to do! Plus all the animals are well looked after by all the zoo keepers! 😍😍

My granddaughter loved this place, the little animals were just right and she loved the swingpark. Expensive to get in and food is ridiculously pricey, so take your own

Fantastic! Our second visit and thoroughly recommended for all ages.
If there is a downside it was the prices in the shops but this seems par for the course at these places. Simply - we took a picnic and bought ice creams and coffees

Definitely aimed towards children, but that didn't detract from my experience. Majority of animals seemed fairly mellow, however I did think that each species got a decently large area to live in - majority of larger species had separate indoor and outdoor areas that they could freely travel between.

Had a 'zookeeper for the day' experience here and really enjoyed it! Nothing made me feel bored, tired uncomfortable or unsafe, with a variety of interesting activities (including a little cleaning, which obviously comes with the job as a zookeeper, so this was great for a little work experience as I would love to work with animals). I would definitely recommend the experience or even just visiting the zoo with the normal visitor ticket, the zoo is amazing and great for people of all ages. I'm 15, and even though the zookeeper experience might be more targeted towards younger kids, I thoroughly enjoyed the activities and never felt like it was too childish nor too challenging. It was originally a birthday gift but I had a quarantine birthday in April, so had to wait a little but it was definitely worth it. Having meerkats sit on your lap, hand feeding capybaras and petting beavers are only some of the awesome things I did today. 100000/10.

Brilliant day out. The park was amazing and the getting to see all the animals was fantastic. The childrens play areas are fantastic along with the rides plenty to do and keep the little ones busy.

Fantastic selection of animals, my 2 year old and 10 year old loved it. There is a 1 way system around the animals just a shame a few of the people there thought they were too important to follow this or any social distancing rules.
Only a few of the rides were closed due to covid-19 which is understandable. The rides that were open were more suitable for younger children but my 10 year old did still enjoy the day.
The outdoor play area is huge for both the older kids and so is the one for smaller children and both are great quality. The splash pad was fantastic but the water was cold as weather was warm but not hot.
Overall was a great day out. Would definitely recommend, only complaints are that too many people were let in, making social distancing almost impossible at times.

It's been quite a few years since I visited but after today I can see that the park has expanded, as has its variety of animals. There are some rides, a small section of animatronic dinosaurs, the farm section is still there and virtually unchanged since I went there as a little girl.
A great day out for families, even with the rubbish weather. The animals seem well-kept and contented and Drusillas boasts its conservation efforts which, judging by the babies in a few of the enclosures seems to be going rather well!

Great despite the weather, arrived in the rain, parked easily, toilets spotless and in the car park before entering the zoo. Entered the zoo, grandchildren enjoyed collecting their stamps as we visited all the animals. Nicely laid out and plenty to see. Jurassic zone well done. Kids loved playing in the wet area, and kitty zone lovely for the little ones. Take out coffee and light lunch available, limited seating outside due to the restrictions at the moment. Really impressed.

Weather good but windy. Only just opened but well spaced out. Lots of info staff very busy with virus cleaning. Good selection of unusual animals. Had the train running which was fun various other items of interest. Food good overall good day out very enjoyable. Lots of space people considerate to others.

Excellent service & really on the ball with all guidelines being adhered too. Brilliant customer service in all areas & happy, helpful staff. Families kept there distance & were patient. Gorgeous animals ❤ & great facilities even in this situation. 👏👏
