Perfect day out for young children. Plenty to do. Lovely animals, amazing play parks and better than expected rides. All clean and well maintained. Will definitely return!

We had a wonderful day at Drusillas, my 7 year old Great Grandson had the best time, there was so much for hin to do and he really loved the Animals. The only downside was the Lunch .. that was really bad...very dry Sandwiches and inedible Southrrn Fried Chicken. Overall though I would highly recommend visiting Drusillas.

Excellent park. Lovely, well kept zoo with a small theme park attached. We had a great day courtesy of Tescos vouchers thankfully. The park would otherwise have cost too much for us to enter, the average adult price around £33. Food in the park was also mega expensive so I would recommend taking a picnic as there is a massive picnic area sited on lovely false grass with umbrellas. The shop however was great. All the gifts therein were reasonably priced with many gifts being affordable for the kids.

After a long roadwork impacted journey on the 24th August (not Drusillas fault) and a mishap with my online booking (again, not Drusillas fault) my family (9 of us of varying ages) had a wonderful afternoon enjoying everything we could fit in and that was on offer. The staff were absolutely marvellous from the outset, from helping with parking, sorting out the mishap with the on line booking to being clearly visible throughout the park should any assistance be required. It was a very hot day and the park was, as expected, busy but the children loved going around the zoo, playing in the splash area and enjoying the rides and playing area until closing time. A full afternoon and time well spent. Thank you Drusillas.

Loads to do, get there early and take it all in. The dinosaur trail and soft play were the big hits with my two, but they enjoyed all of it.

Fab place so much for the kids to do fromm all ages. Two things bothered me though smoking area in kids playground.WHY? Even my little one was asking why are people allowed to smoke in the water park area?
SECOND the picture of two dogs what I assume are Rottweiler's being described as dangerous dogs and that upset both myself and my little one as we used to have 2 ourselves. Again why the ROTTWEILER? This doesn't give a good image to such lovely dogs.

My first visit to Drusillas.

It's a nice place to have a day out with the kids, lots of animals to see and rides to go on.

Top tip take lunch with you as the prices for food are extortionate.

Pros

Big car park & Free parking

Lots of animals to see.

Lots of rides to go on.

Sit on rides that would usually cost you £1-2 ago are all free to use.

Cons

Signage getting there is very poor.

Not the best idea to have an animal walkthrough as the only way into the park as it just gets over crowded and creates queues getting in.

Food costs are extortionate.

Had statues of animals that aren't actually in the park (giraffe, lion, etc

Lovely place to visit with an 8 year old. Make sure you have one of their animal spotter booklets uto keep children occupied. It is quite expensive so make sure you spend all day there.

We went for the Bluey kids event specifically. Not going to lie - it wasn't what it was cracked up to be.
We didn't get to meet Bluey or Bingo, we tried throughout the day but there was an hour queue all day.
There was nothing Bluey themed (apart from the meet and greet) for the children that didn't get the chance to meet Bluey or Bingo.
If I'm honest it felt like there wasn't enough staff on as it could have been a little more organised and kept cleaner, although the staff that were on were very professional and polite.
We've been to Drusilla's before on a day when there wasn't quite such a big event, so know the place as great from past experience so still giving it 4 stars as I'm sure it'll be great next time we go (Bluey is a big deal in the under 9's scene so it's big business)

Mmm, not been here for many years. Recently brought my 6 year old granddaughter for the day. Honestly? I thought £68 for two of us was expensive. It has had money spent on it, no doubt, and it is well looked after and the animals all look well cared for etc, it's always very busy so does it need to be so expensive for what in truth, is a reasonably small zoo and play area.
That said, the new sensory room, an extra cost, is well worth it, very well done and young children will love it. The play areas are good and there is a splash area too if you remember the kids swimmers!
Bring a picnic, I thought the food was expensive but I expected that in fairness. You can pay extra for additional rides and face painting, although only one 'artist' working, so a big queue when I was there and as it was hot, didn't want to be queuing for ages.
Overall, if you've never been, it's worth a visit, particularly if your kids are under 10. I spent around £100. Would you go again? I'm not sure.

Absolutely brilliant, recommend for kids under 10. Food is over priced and pretty dire (surprised to not find any healthy options) but picnic area is brilliant, lots of shade! If you keep going past the picnic area there's a cafe with decent coffee and sandwiches (over priced but better than burger and chips!). Absolutely loved Drusilla's, will certainly return!

Having not visited for about 15 years we are very impressed by new additions and the amount of interesting activities. Shocked by having to queue from Polegate to get in!!! - didn't realise it was a special day but ....... 🤷. Also disappointed to find no water stations for water bottle refills, not enough places to rest along the way and few shaded areas around the play areas - I don't know how families have managed in recent very hot times. We have enjoyed our day very much but a pity to hear children crying and moaning and grumpy adults during the day due to needing a sit down in the shade or a drink of water.

Horrendous queues blocked the A27, chaos in the car parks. Animals were great, play area very crowded with nowhere in the shade to sit. There is no drinking water available - presumably to maximise drink sales at £1.85 a can.

Great Family day out but very expensive entry. Recommended using tesco club card points towards entry otherwise just too expensive.
