We took our little daughter Margot, who is almost 17months old. It was truly fantastic and we all loved it. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and great with kids. The facilities on site were great and there was so much to do for all ages. We were also impressed with the variety of places to go a eat. They cater for all. I would definitely recommend it and it’s worth every penny! Will definitely be coming back again soon! Thank you for having us!

This park is truly fun for the whole family. Great concept. You can play the Drusilla Olympics, you get a booklet in which you have to stamp seen animals. You keep kids engaged and you even learn a lot about the animals and the environment they usually live in.

There are nice slides and rides. As a toddler you only have to be 90cm and you can do them all. Most of them accompanied by an adult. But at least you can do them.

They have a massive playground outside and even inside in case of bad weather. Food is available as well as picnic spots. Coffee shop is there too. Free parking is available.

The only downside is that you pay the full price for kids 2 years +. In my opinion it shouldn't be like that. Other than that if you want to have a fun day this is a great place to go.

If you are looking for a great day for the kids, then this is your place. Really enjoyed the zoo and animals, my four year old loved being able to to touch the sheep and cows. Food and drink was really nice. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The train, the water fountains park, the adventure park and all the different things to keep kids occupied was brilliant.

I visited yesterday with my daughters aged 7 and 9. We got there for 10am and stayed for 4 hours but could easily have spent longer there.

The animals and zoo section are clean and the learning opportunities are fantastic! My eldest daughter is especially curious and has a thirst for knowledge and the information and facts available in various formats really engaged her mind.

The park was excellent and there are lots of slides and climbing frames. My only comment would be parents of younger children should keep a close eye on their children, it's a large space with lots of layers. I saw a child of approx. 4 attempt to slide down a climbing wall and he hurt himself, no fault of Drusilla's and it could have been so easily avoided if someone had been with him.

The rides section was great and allowed my children some freedom and independence running between the rides and queueing to go on. There were no long waits.

All staff were happy and smiling and you can tell they enjoy their job which is so refreshing especially with a relatively young team! We saw staff rotate and work different rides etc and it clearly helped keep them motivated and energised. Pretty much everyone greeted us with a genuine "hello".

We didn't visit the soft play or the water splash section but both looked great.

Thank you Drusilla's and the team for such a wonderful family memory we will treasure!!

What an incredible place!

Happy families and unusually even happier staff, in fact I wondered whether they were inoculated against being miserable, and there was a genuineness there too - they loved their job!

The zoo was lovely with excellent signagevabd very happy animals in really well kept areas - space to be curious and also as natural as possible.

Great little train, and some gentle rides meant that families can rest assured that they are all very safe.

All in all a brilliant day out, a real delight!

This place is a brilliant and full day out! The adventure playground equipment and rides were fantastic for our 5 year old. The zoo was also great, and really quite extensive. Only the food fell short of expectations; one of the places to eat was meant to be a healthy option, but I didn't think it was great.

We all enjoyed looking at the small animals and then there was a lovely water area which the children loved together with an immense amount of park area with various apparatus depending on the ages of the children. Then to cap it all they had a lovely time on the rides.
Therefore an excellent day out.

Although the day we visited it did rain for most of it, we did get to see the whole park and go on all the rides.
The chap in the lemur enclosure was a joy to talk to and the on-site Starbucks helped a lot, we enjoyed the feeding time talks for the animals.
Great picnic area, lovely train, lots of animals, even event days, Paw patrol were there when we visited.
The playground area is amazing, more places should really go and half a look and take note because there is so much there for all ages and abilities.

My 8 year old did the Zookeeper for the Day experience for her birthday.

The day started at 10am were we were met by one of the zookeepers, Billie. Billie showed us around the back parts of the zoo which the public don't normally see - the kitchens, store rooms etc. My daughter made up the feeds for several animals (one feed involved weighing out 15g of live earthworms!). We then went around the different animal enclosures, cleaning them out and feeding them. A particular highlight for her was sitting in the meerkat enclosure with several meerkats eating food off her lap.

She fed the penguins, beavers, sloths, bats and capybaras. Billie explained lots about each of the animals as we went - where they live, what they eat, how long they live.

She then got to handle several animals that don't normally go on dispay (as they are used for showing to school groups). She held several snakes, a bearded dragon and pygmy hedgehog. Again, Billie explained a lot about each animal that she handled.

Overall, my daughter had an absolutely brilliant day. I thoroughly recommend it for any animal-lover.

We visited here at the beginning of July on a day trip from London. We had a feeding the Sloth experience booked for 3pm, so we had plenty of time to see the other inhabitants and we were not dissapointed. Everything from farm animals, to numerous different types of monkeys, meerkats, lizards, flamingos.......so on and so on! It was wonderful and having staff on hand to give tit bits of information was brilliant. There’s a fabulous play area with water sprays for the little ones which was being facilitated the day we were there, it was 28 degrees. I had my 2 teenagers there with me, and given half a chance they’d have been in too! There are lots of interactive challenges for little ones throughout the park, I only wish I’d known about this place when mine were little ones. We had lunch In the cafe/restaurant, standard fare, burgers, chicken burgers, hot dogs etc, it was fine, teenagers love it. The sloth experience was absolutely fantastic, Curly the sloth was a little reluctant to come and see us, but the corn on the cob soon enticed her down from her snoozing post. The park assistant was fabulous and so full of information, she really helped make one of my bucket list items the absolute best! I will never forget it! Well worth a visit and for me, paying for the experience was worth every penny.

Brilliant zoo and park. Loved that there were steps near some of the enclosures for the little ones to see. Lots to see and do. My two year old loved the little rides at the end. Only down side was the lack of picnic benches for eating your own food.

Visited Drusillas for their creepy crawlies weekend and loved it. The couple were so interesting and informative and they brought some amazing arachnids. I would definitely recommend one of these weekends.
Drusillas itself has a great collection of animals, they have specifically chosen smaller species so that they can give them enough space while still allowing visitors to get a great view. There are fascinating facts and information around the park and several endearing items from their history such as some singing chickens and a dancing spider that can teach you about the food chain!
The adventure playground is fantastic and in summer the water park is amazing. The soft play is great and they now have quite a selection of rides which are all included in the entrance price.
Everywhere is clean and well maintained.
Entry isn't cheap but with everything included it does give a full day out especially for younger visitors.

Have an annual pass which is a good investment, if you live near by and want to visit more than once. It’s one of my ‘go to’ places with my Grandson. Lots to see and do. Animals, a train and super rides plus several food outlets.

Visited the park on a Thursday with our Year 3 classes.
The children had a brilliant day. There is so much to see and do. Clean toilets, water fountains to refill water bottles, and a shaded picnic area for large groups.
A great day was had by children and the adults alike!

We visited Drusillas yesterday. We have not visited for such a long time so it was special. The staff on the rides and attractions were brilliant, engaged with us (I had a 5 year old with me) and made sure all was well. Lovely update to the park too with the new rides and splash pad. All very clean - always a plus point on a busy day.
My little one loved the zoo Olympic challenges and was chuffed to bits with his certificate.

Came to Drusillas with my 7 year old daughter, was a bit worried beforehand that it might be a bit young for her but there was so much variety, she had such a good day. The layout was easy to follow. Lots of lovely animals to see. Fun water park which is perfect on a hot day. She especially loved the Hello Kitty section and rides. All staff members were very helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced and we even received discounted vouchers for our next visit on the way out.
I had as much fun as my daughter and would definitely return.

The park has a very good layout, easy to follow. The animals all have a great amount of space and it’s very personable place. All those working on the day couldn’t be more helpful, I’ll certainly be going back when the little one is born!

I was lucky enough to be given a red panda experience at Drusillas as a present. I wasn’t sure what to expect but what we did was amazing and i had a totally lovely day. I met both beautiful pandas... don’t touch unless they touch you.... and they did 😊 only to get the specially prepared panda cake I helped make but it was fab.

Then we had chance to visit the rest of the park. It started to rain but there were plenty of places to hide from the rain until it passed... and it didn’t upset the animals all were still on top form watching us.

The rides at the park were great too... I’m a little too old for the rides but I had to have a go of the carousel. Only complicated decision of the day was what animal to chose on the carousel 🙂

It’s a lovely day for everyone. The staff are all lovely... the park is lovely and clean... the animals enclosures were all clean and well looked after... all animals seemed healthy. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Have had an amazing first visit today with our 3 year old nephew. What a fabulous place for a fun day out. He was enthralled with the animals - particularly the Meerkats and loved walking through the Lemurs. From an adult point of view all the staff were friendly, smiley and helpful. Facilities were clean and tidy and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Explorer restaurant. There was a good selection of freshly cooked food and my macaroni cheese was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

I am writing on behalf of my partner and our 7 year old son to say how very impressed and happy we have always been on a visit to Drusillas park. We recently visited the park on Sunday 30th June after several other visits and we all had a super lovely fun filled day. We have highly recommended this park to many friends and family. The park is always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the entertainment is always brilliant... I just had to send out our review on the park as it is an absolute gem of a place and deserves all the praise and recognition given...

Thank you to all the team at Drusillas for offering a great place of entertainment for families...

We love Drusillas, it’s our favourite day out as a family. It has everything! The park is so clean and well looked after and the facilities are outstanding. We were so lucky to see lots of baby monkeys which my daughter loved! New carousel ride which is fantastic! Couldn’t recommend Drusillas more, best value for a family day out, we will be back soon!

Drusillas is just down the road so we have visited severl times with grandchildren. The latest visit was a birthday treat and happened to fall on Father's Day. As always the attractions, particularly the new rides, were very popular. The animal enclosures on the whole are well kept and of adequate size although I question keeping camels in such a small space. The penquin feeding was a highlight and the keeper provided lots of interesting facts.
My complaint is this: I intended buying the tickets on line and had looked at the prices on my laptop. Then, later, I looked on my phone and discovered offers for June weekends and Father's Day that was not available online. When I called Drusillas I was told these could only be booked via my smart phone. I had a very hard time downloading the vouchers as it was not a simple operation. What kind of nonsense is this and why aren't all offers available on line? We saved £30, not an inconsiderable amount for a day out. Shame on you Drusillas, this is not a family friendly way to treat your customers. Many grandparents do not have smart phones.
