A lovely day out for you and the kids. For a small zoo has a good variety of animals and so much more to do there. Easily enough there for a full day of entertainment.

(Translated by Google) It’s a small zoo plus a playground. It’s enough for most of the day. Don’t line up a bit, it’s worth visiting.

Been coming 3 years in a row never disappoints. Although the lights have been changed for Christmas this year it's not as good

Great place for a kids day out. Use Tesco vouchers or similar though, it is brilliant but not cheap!

Lovely place but a bit pricey, more people would visit if a bit cheaper

What a wonderful surprise and lots of things to see and do for all the family. The variety of animals on display are far greater than the larger zoos around the world. Plus a great area for the children to burn off the last of there energy.

Amazing day out. Had great fun from opening time till it closed! My boys have Autism and one is non verbal with learning difficulties and all the staff were great with him, especially on the rides. Everybody was really patient and kind to him, which makes all the difference. Splash area was great fun.
Only criticism was that it wasn’t always clear where we should be going direction wise. Could do with more sign posts and maybe better maps.
But we would definitely go back if we were in the area again.

Really good experience, lovely grounds. So busy at the weekend it was kind of difficult to appreciate it as fully as I would've liked, but would definitely go again

Visitors follow a path round all the enclosures with lots to see and things to read and activities to keep you amused. I had my 1 year old Grandson and he loved it.

I haven't visited for over 20 years, having moved away from the area. It has changed a fair bit and is still a great little zoo to visit with or without kids.

As they describe it a different type of zoo. Part animal park and learning zone, and part paly area and part young children theme park. £18 a head is expensive but try Tesco or Groupon, bring a picnic as the food is £6for kids meal, although not bad quality, all your normal stuff burger, nuggets or sandwiches. Enough to do for the whole day, don't forget to use the zoolympics and animal spotter quizzes.
